Lol You dont see earings on guys, and they didnt let you wear hats IN school, but at lunch you could.

Oh and now we cant have Ipods, or Cell Phones, frist offence is Saturday school, witch no one will go to because ISS is way better. And the teachers have to stand in the halls and watch us like we're in 3rd grade. And you cant be late more then 2 times or ISS.

Thats the exact opposite of my school, you see plenty of guys with earings and hats on and were all allowed ipod's, cell phones and the only people in the halls are the security guards

um..now that I think about it my school isn't strict at all..xD..we can chew gum and listen to mp3 players in class, and we get half an hour breaks 3 times a day..and we can also wear hats, just no bandana's and if we swear we dont get in trouble..Im too old to go there now tho..

Hmm, my school is kind of strict, but not by a longshot. The strict things are:no spaghetti strap,I understand why, even though they have not told us; no hats, if you want to wear a hat, you can do it on Hat Day, only coming once per year, but you have to pay a dollar to do so; no hoodies; and no music players with earphones especially on busses. But that's no all, can't pull the rest off the top of my head. Oh yeah! We're not allowed on the playground before school, I've heard about things like that during the projections they make for guidance counseling, they mention things like to tell new people to go to the playground before and after school.

Yeah we're not allowed Ipods, phones, MP3s.... But I take mine anyway. xD

I go to a continuation school sooo, there really are no rules, just as long as you are there. And of course common sense like stuff, but other than that you can wear what you want, as long as its not profane.

lol and also is it so weird for guy to have earings? In my town its more common to see guys with earings than guys without, and the schools dont care at all.

Hehe, When I'm writing this I got free class from my School that means one hour (well my schools 70 mins+Lunch brake free from School)

In Finland School, No uniform, you can go out into shops if you want to, you can ask your grade to be dropped in test into 4 that is like F- in USA so you can make that test again with better grade into it :p and you can wear bandana, ear rings, black stuff etc...no one complains

Your school sounds same as mine Orlando 4eva, only allowed one earing, not hats, ipods, mp3, phones, must wear uniform, blah blah etc.

England schools are strict Loz. xD

But the strictest thing, is, *a drumming sound is heard* we have to do a project the art teachers selects for the art fair! *gasps are heard* 'Tis why I am writing a petition to Mrs. Kimbler the art teacher.

Teh, at some schools, they considered having parents pay extra money if their child was overweight and they went to the school... I don't think that that happened though, but I think that some schools are more strict than others. I go to a school near a Catholic school, and I know that it's pretty strict there, as the school is taught by Benedictine Monks....

Well I wouldn't say that the school is being strict. I got my ears pierced and because I am a guy I am not allowed to wear them at school. It says in the rules that you are not allowed to wear earrings if you are a guy, and that girls as well may not wear more then two piercings. I am sure that your school gives a rule book out when school starts or when you first attend it highlighting the rules. Tha tbeing said your sister should have taken into consideration that she would be asked to remove them, and waited till she was in summer of an extended break to get her ears pierced.

School rules as much as I hate them, actually do serve a purpose. They test your ability to abide by the laws of society in a workplace that you will face later on in life, as well as make it so you have to think! You have to think of good ways to express yourself when yourself rather then just by clothes and such. THey almost kinda force you to develop more of a personality then just to talk about where you bought your clothes, the designers, comparing each other possesion, etc.
