Kovu's Real Father?

Yea, Kovu was Zira's son, but not Scar's. Nobody knows who his father was. You just have to make that up for yourself

It's fun making up fanarts/fanfics about Kovu's real father. But, who his father really is, we'll never know...

...unless maybe, it might show in TLK3/4....if they make one... :shock:

Even though the movie over-stresses that 'Scar isn't Kovu's father', I think he probably is, because they look too similar, and even though disney tried to hide the original plot line, you can kind of see traces of the old plan. It would be nice if disney would actually explain themselves though.

Apart from making a lot of sense, Taka being Kovu's father would certainly add some more flavour to the storyline, Kovu having to make up with Simba (who deposed his old man, Taka) and Simba having to make up with Kovu (whose old man, taka, deposed Simba's father).

Kovu and Scar look similar almost enough to be father and son not to mention that Kovu's name means 'scar' in Swahili!

I'm thinking that Scar was Zira's mate, but when he died she must have found someone else who brought around Kovu. Maybe he died too. Who knows? But at any rate, it's a topic I know will never be answered properly.

I think that Kovu is Scar's son, no matter how many times the characters in the movie say that he isn't. I think that disney was just trying to hide the fact. :roll:

Why would disney want Kovu not to be Scar's son? I mean, the more drama the merrier. And it doesn't cause any age-related bickering either.

Kovu was related to Zira and not Scar, No one is really sure how was Kovu's dad. But its all most like Nala we never new her father.
