There's much more dark meat (because ducks can actually fly, where chickens apparently can only run very short spurts at low altitude). What that means is that the meat is a little "sweeter" (in a meat sense, not a sugary sense...it's tough to explain). Of course, the only way to know is to try it. Trust me, it's good! And since you get sauce, it's not like you'd be tasting just the meat itself. But I sure like it! would it be like eating turkey with the tough skin?
Er...I don't think so. The skin is never tough. But again, most of the meat is dark and, like I said, "sweeter" ("gamier") than chicken and, come to think of it, turkey too.

I usually eat Chinese food when I'm indecisive about how I feel, or am about to do some hard work or a long drive.

Oh, oh!! STORY TIME!!!
We were eating at this cinese place, and we all have this strane custom of opening our forune cookies at the exact same time. I cracked mine open, and it said something like, "You will live well and prosper with one you love", or something.
When I read it aloud, everyone started laughing. They all asked why it was called the "Fortune" cookie, since it never comes true. Then, I started wondering...why don't fortune cookies ever tell the truth? I mean, it'd be nice to crack one open, and read, "You suck. Get a life, loser."
Whaddia say? Am I right, or am I right?

LOL - I'd like to offer a few lines from the very great, awesome, and well-worth seeing murder-suspense movie "Rising Sun" ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107969), which starred Shawn Connery, Wesley Snipes, Harvey Keitel, Mako, Tia Carrere, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Ray Wise, and Steve Buscemi). I'm doing this from memory...I own the movie, but I am not where I can access it:
Senator John Morton (Ray Smith): "Will you take a piece of advice? If a battle can't be won, don't fight it."
Lieut. Web Smith (Wesley Snipes), (to Captain John Connor): "What was that supposed to mean?"
Capt. John Connor (Sean Connery): "He was quoting Sun Tzu."
Lieut. Web Smith: "Smart guy."
Capt. John Connor (sarcastically): "Oh, yeah. He read a fortune cookie once."
Oh, by the by...you Brits have mentioned "prawn crackers" a few times in this thread. I've never heard of those, or seen them on a Chinese menu here in the States. Maybe that's the same as "shrimp toast" (something Sahara also mentioned)? That's what you see when you look at a Chinese menu, in the appetizer section, in the U.S. Heh heh...just a "thunk"...

Though, once in a while, I'll order a shrimp with lobster sauce, or Young Chow (house special, featuring a little of everything) fried rice, or fried dumplings, or Peking duck... what is a peking duck? Oh, good stuff! LOL! For Chinese food, that is. It's duck, done up I think broiled and then browned (to make the skin nice and crackly), and then sliced into shreds and wrapped in thin, tortilla-style wraps with sliced cucumber, and then a brown sauce on it. MMMMM-MM!
i love that!
