I love showing, but i have a horse thats off the track so he is still getting used to that fact that he is not racing evry time you haul him somwhere. I also dispise the people at horse shows that think their better because of the money they paid for their hoerse.

I've been riding for three years and the horse I take to shows twice a year is an eleven year old TB cross named Skeeter. He's the sweetest horse in the world and has never tried to dump me. Well, I'm sure he has, but I haven't fallen off of him yet. We ride English style once a week ((I wish I could see him more...)) But after I'm done riding, I brush him and tell him what's going on and I think he enjoys it. When I fell off of McGee yesterday, I went into a stall and he gave me a "Skeete hug" which is when he wraps his head around one side. He seems to know what kind of mood I'm in, and what crazy antic to fill it in with. I love you, Skeeter.

I would love to own a horse. I have been riding english for 2 years. Mostly during the summer at a horse camp. This year I rode a ex racing horse named Daria. I loved riding her during camp. Even thought she was a little slow on what she needed to do I enjoyed riding her. This year I also had one of my friends come with me and we enjoyed the whole thing. Daria is a big horse. I'm not sure how tall she stands. My guess would have to be somewhere around 16 hands high. I will be riding her agian most likely when I do lessons at the barn.

Well, I have horses, and I love them! I do all the work myself. I have them on my own farm, and I breed, raise, train and sell horses. And I don't have someone to groom my horses, I do that MYSELF every single day.
I own Mares and one Stallion. And I built up a herd. I also give lessons to locals. I trained my first horse when I was 9 or 10.
Thats one of my babies!!!!

I own two horses. One is a Tennessee Walking Horse named Beauty. She's 11. Her registered name is Carbon's Navada. (Yes, it's a strange name ) She's solid black with a white stripe down her face. The other horse is my mom's. He's a bay Quarter Horse, but we don't have papers on him. He is 4. His name is Jasper.
I'm a new rider, and I don't take lessons. There isn't many stables around here, and when there is it's way to exensive. I ride western saddle or endurance (english with a high pomel like a horn) saddle , and when I do ride, it's a trail ride on the farm I live on. We haven't got to ride much lately though. In the summer it was too hot. (I didn't want to risk it since my horse is black and in 97 degree weather I was afraid she might get too hot.) and in the winter it was really cold and windy. (Jasper spooks when its really windy. He's only green broke though.) I might have pics up later.

I used to own a horse (Sparky) until school commitments and GCSE's forced me to sell.
I also horse-shared in a stallion called Arran. I used to ride him at one and three day events, until he refused a jump and I dislocated my shoulder.
Once I was fit again I rode like there was no tomorrow but I had a further two dislocations (non-horse related) and I was warned to take it easy.
I do still ride but life is now in the slower lane. I have also got my Husband to join me too.

Is anyone in Florida looking to buy a English, award winning Gelding? His name is Napoleon. He is a palimino but clipped to look plain white.
