That's a pretty cool story! Is there any more? Teal sounds like an interesting character!

Yes, in fact there is.
By the time he got to his spot at the mill, the main place that the dogs came and talked and stuff, he was seething with rage. The other dogs walked through the mill doors, followed by Teal. He was smiling at everyone, being completely kind and unselfish. That's part of the reason Steele hated him. He acted like it was perfectly normal that he had stolen attention away from an awesome dog (that's what Steele thought of himself anyway), and he acted like nothing had happened. Kaltag trotted over to his place and said "Come on Teal, take my spot!"
"Okay." He said as he went over and laid down in Kaltag's place. Everybody laid down in their spot, except Kaltag. He laid down by the door. "You're sure about me having this spot, Kaltag?" Teal asked. "Oh yeah, go ahead." He answered. There were still four empty spaces: one beside him and three across from him. He was about to ask Kaltag who they were for when four girl dogs walked in. One a rusty and cream color, one was an Afgan hound (not much to look at there), one was a small kind of ditsie looking dog, and the last one was a Malamute, like Teal except she had soft, deep brown eyes instead of blue. She had a different coloration than Teal. She was white with streaks of gray and golden vanilla. She was beautiful. She laid down in her spot: right beside Teal. He looked over at Kaltag. He had a grin on his face. He mouthed the words "good luck" . Kaltag had apparently tried her before, but she'd brushed him off. He looked back over to her. "Hey." She said. By now all the other dogs were talking to each other. But there was an awkward silence between Teal and Tera. He didn't know quite what to do. "So, are you enjoying Nome?" She asked. "Yeah, I like it. I like it alot, uh,-"
"Tera" She said. "I'm Teal." He answered. "Teal. I like that. You did good today. I've never seen anybody outrun Steele like you did. That was really cool."
"It was, huh?" Teal thought. Steele had been discretely watching them (he already had his eye on Tera anyway). He got up, went over to Tera, and said in a smooth, cockey voice, "Hey, Tera, wanna come up to the hill with me?" With an annoyed look on her face, Tera answered, "Get lost Steele."
"Maybe later huh? Okay, if that's the way you want it." Steele said in that same conceided voice as he walked away. Tera could see the puzzled expression on Teal's face. "He's always trying to get me to do stuff with him." She lowered her voice and put her mouth close to Teal's ear. "He's a total jerk and he thinks everyone thinks he's the best. That everyone thinks he's so hot. If he didn't act like he owns this town he wouldn't be so bad. Now that you're getting the golden collar instead of him, he's gonna be really steamed. More than he was when he heard the other dogs talking to you. Don't worry though. Just stay around the others and you should be okay."
"Okay" Teal said, laughing softly. "I'll remember that. Thanks for the advice."
"You shoud be able to beat him though." She said as he looked him over. "You're as big as he is." Their conversation blended into the others'. That night, as often happened, some dogs were missing at the kennel. Alot of times dogs stayed at their homes and slept with their owners. Tera stayed with Teal. "To show him around." She though, among other reasons. "So, why are there some missing? They were all here last night." Teal asked. "That's because today was race day. The kennel manager makes sure all the dogs are here before he closes the doors. Locks them tight, too. All the dogs have to be there, see."
"Yeah."

And this, followed as soon as I can get more of the story typed on this computer by twelve more pages about as long as all these. I have it written, I just have to put it all on this computer.
"So why did they call you Teal? If you don't mind me asking."
"I guess it's because of my eyes."
"Your eyes are pretty." He looked at her. They looked at each other long enough to be uncomfortable. "I'm sorry." Teal said. "Like I was saying, they said my eyes were almost teal blue so that's what they called me. I liked it."
"So do I." She said. Then she looked sheepishly at him and said, "I already said that, didn't I?" They both laughed and Teal said, "I wasn't going to say anything but, yeah." They laughed some more and then they settled down and went to sleep. "Night Teal" She whispered. "Night Tera" Teal replied as he closed his eyes.
"Teal, Teal wake up." He felt a nose on the side of his face. He opened his sleepy eyes and saw Tera. He squinted at her, trying to get used to the light. "Whatcha need?" He asked in a sort of croaky voice. "For you to get up." She said, chuckling. "Okay" He lifted himself slowly up to his big feet. "So what's happening today?"
"Well, not much, seeing as how you slept halfway through it." He paused, looked at her, thought for a second, then said, "You're kidding, right?" She laughed and said, "Yes. But you did sleep in late."
"Sorry. I always got to sleep this late in Ontario. As long as there wasn't a race the next day. I guess I'll have to get used to living here. Whadya say we have some fun today? A race would be fun, I think. Not a real one, but sort of a pickup game so to speak."
"Pickup game?"
"Yeah. That's what my owner calls it when he goes and plays an unofficial hockey game on a frozen pond when we lived in Ontario."
"I see." She smiled at him. "So what exactly did you want to do today?"
"What are the options?"
"We could go on a walk through town and I could show you around. We could talk with the others, or just hang out at the mill."
"Let's walk around a little bit."
"Alright." They started out of the kennel. After about 10 steps she asked, "So how did you feel about being more popular than Steele?"
"I didn't know I was."
"Well it was pretty obvious. Everybody, including the ladies I might add, were crowding around you like you were some hero."
"Well not all the ladies. I didn't see your face around me anywhere. And a face like yours is pretty hard to miss." She looked at him with a smile. "Thanks." She said shyly. He smiled warmly at her and they kept on walking. "So why did they crowd around me like that? Do they do that to Steele when he wins?"
"Generally speaking, they do when he wins, but not as much. To narrow it down to the girls, excluding me of course, they do it even when there's no race at all." She rolled her eyes. "It's embarrassing. It turns my stomach to see all those girls hanging around that arrogant jerk." Before she could continue, a man ran up to them, holding a big, thick, wide leather collar with big brass beads and an equally large brass buckle on it. It was given to the winning lead dog. The man put it on Teal. It fit nicely around his neck, nestling itself into Teal's thick fur. Tera almost choked when she saw the collar on him. But she regained her composure. "Wow." Teal said. "I've never gotten anything this nice before. Back in Ontario I got double food or something. This is really awesome. What were you saying?"
"The worst part about it is that he's, well, I already told you about it. I just don't like him. That's all. Anyway, the reason they crowded around you like that is because nobody had ever beaten Steele, at least not that bad. Between you and me, I think he cheats out on the course. I heard some whispers from Sylvie, she's our neighborhood gossip source, that Kaltag told her that Steele snapped at the first place third dog's feet, making the whole team screw up. But she told me to keep it quiet because if Steele ever found out who knew and who told, he would make them wish he hadn't. That's what Kaltag said Steele told the team, and everybody else too about his cheating. They're scared of him. Just because a dog's big and a little attractive doesn't mean he gets everything he wants."
"I agree. I mean, I'm big, I'm a little attra-" He stopped. "Never mind."
"You are."
"What?"
"I said you are." He looked at her. "Really?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks. I don't get compliments like that alot." She wanted to say "You should" but she figured she'd said enough. She was walking with a great guy, outside and inside, and she didn't know how to act exactly. She showed him around some more, pointing out the major areas like the hospital, boiler room, telegraph office, stuff like that. When she had shown him the major places, she asked, "So what's it like in Ontario?"
"Snowy, pretty much. Not as deep or cold as here, though. I got to run every day. Almost. Some days Toby was sick and I had to stay home with him. That was okay, though. I like being with him."
"So is Toby your owner?"
"Yeah. He's lots of fun. My favorite mushing days were the ones when he mushed my team. He was the easiest to understand, for obvious reasons. I kinda miss Ontario."
"Where is it?"
"In Canada. About 5 months travel from here. I nearly went stir-crazy either on a plane or a train. Just sit. That's all I did." Later that day Teal was walking along the street, when his nose caught something that smelled like a snow hare. He followed it down an ally and started searching. When he almost had it, he saw a big shadow in front of him. He turned around and saw Steele. "Hey, Steele, what's up? You know I've found something that smells pretty good, you wanna help me-"
"Shut up."
"Okay, okay. If you want to miss out, fine."
"You've ruined me." Steele said in an almost demonic tone of voice. "You've made me look bad. You've made me lose. You're trying to take my girl."
"Hey now hold it, Steele. I can't help if if my team was faster than yours. I can't help it if the others crowded around me when we won. And I'm not tryin' to take anyone's girl."
"It's not your team. You're a visitor here, mutt." Teal's face grew serious. "I don't like people who tell lies. You're pushin' it Steele. I'll be nice to you sure, but when you start telling lies about me, you've lost any hope of my courtesy being extended to you."

"Stay away from Tera. She's mine. No one is taking her away from me."
"Excuse me but it looks like she chose me over you. I am not makin' the moves here if that's what you want to call it. She offered that walk. She also had a few choice words to say about you. And I don't want to be the one to break your heart but they definately were on the negative side." Steele growled and said, "You're askin' for it."
"Oh please. I'm not afraid of you. You can't make everybody in this town cower in front of you like you used to. Not with me, at least. I can take you on. You're not the only one who's big and strong now." This was the first time Steele had anyone actually stand up to him. He'd always had the painfully obvious advantage in size and looks over the others, but now there was a dog that rivaled him in both. He didn't know quite how to take it. All he knew was that he was furious. He gave Teal an evil glare and walked to the opening of the ally when Teal stopped him. "By the way, Steele." He said defensively. "I'm not a mutt. I am a one hundred percent pureblooded Alaskan Malamute with a pedigree as good as yours, probably better. And that's not speculation, it's fact. I don't like being called 'mutt'." Steele just gave him a mean look and walked off. He knew that Teal was right. He'd heard all about Teal before he arrived. Teal's pedigree was better than his. Not by much, but it was. Teal could take him on. He was as big as he was. Steele wasn't about to let some outsider from thousands of miles away breeze into town and take away all of his attention. All of "his" girls. All of his popularity. Teal cooly turned back to the snow hare. Steele stormed into the mill room. "ALRIGHT, EVERYBODY OUT! NOW! ALL OF YOU!" There was some confused mumbling as the dogs filed out the door with a raged Steele hurrying them along. When Nikki started walking out, Steele quickly said, "Nikki stay here." Nikki turned and stayed. Once everyone was out, Steele turned to Nikki. His eyes were a raging fire. He was really tense. His ears were laid back. He was mad. "You're on my side, right?"
"Well, yeah Steele you know that."
"How do you feel about Teal?"
"Well I don't know him very well, but what problem do you have with him?"
"He's trying to take everything away from me."
"Really?"
"Yes. We need to take care of him if you know what I mean."
"Yeah, I do. But we need to be careful about it. The others like him and they might be ticked if he suddenly turned up dead."
"I can't."
"You can't what?" It pained Steele to say the words. "I can't get him alone. He's as big as I am."
"I'll help you. We'll have to ambush him somehow."
"I've got an idea. We'll need one more dog to make it work."
"They're all on Teal's side."
"You forget that they don't have to want to, Nikki. We'll use Kaltag. He'll do what I tell him to."
"Okay. We can do it in that old warehouse at the edge of town. We can lure him there somehow."
"Then Kaltag can shut the door when he goes in." Nikki added.

"Yeah. And it's pitch dark in there when the door's closed. We can take him out without him even seeing who did it."
"How do we get out? It'll look pretty bad if someone opens the door and there we are with a dead Malamute on the floor."
"I know a way to get in and out that nobody else does."
"Show me." They both went to the warehouse (after letting all the others back into the room) and Nikki showed him the secret passage. "It can't be seen from the inside, either. When should we do it?"
"I say as soon as we can." Steele answered. "Okay. I'll tell you when it's ready. Let's go get Kaltag." They went back to the mill and Nikki poked his head inside. "Hey Kaltag, come here for a second." He came and Steele and Nikki took him back to the warehouse. "What's this all about fellas? Teal was telling a really good joke and you made me miss it. I hope this is good." Steele spoke up. "You're going to cooperate or I will make you wish you had. Got it?"
"Y-yeah, sure. Sorry." They told him their plan. "You guys are sick. I can't believe I'm on the same sled team with you. Even though all you want me to do is shut a door, I still don't want any part of it." Steele glared at him. "I don't think I have to remind you what's at stake if you don't do your job."
"I. . . I know." They started walking away, but Kaltag stayed, thinking. "All I want to know, is why you're doing this to Teal. He's a great guy, why would you want to kill him?" Steele looked at him and said, "Someone with your social status shouldn't be expected to understand much at all about other people." Kaltag winced at Steele's deep-cutting insult. He didn't know that Steele was so cruel. He walked to the kennel, very upset about what happened. And what was going to happen.
Teal woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and rested. He would need it. He went about his day like the others. That afternoon he was at the mill when Nikki burst into the room. Steele told him about the smell Teal had found, and that that was really good bait to get him into the warehouse. "Teal! I found this eally cool scent in the old warehouse, come on!" Teal got up, looked at the others, and said, "I'll be right back guys. Tell Kaltag I'm checkin' out something at the warehouse when he gets back okay?" A few nodded as he turned to Nikki and they went off to the warehouse. It didn't stick out as much as someone might think. It was a 100x100 building that was used for storing export supplies to Canada and the more southern United States. It had just been emptied, so that made it the perfect place to plan something like this. "It's right in there." Nikki said, pointing inside the door. "If you don't smell anything at first, just keep trying. It took me a while too."
"Alright." Teal said as he went inside, not having the faintest idea of what was about to happen.

"I gotta go check something, okay?"
"Yeah sure." Teal answered as he sniffed around for about 5 minutes. He didn't smell a thing. He turned around to ask Nikki if he was sure this was the place. "Hey Nikki-" He saw Kaltag at the door. "Kaltag? What are you doing here?" Kaltag just looked at him and said, "I'm sorry Teal." And then he gave a strong push on the door, and it swung shut. He was trapped. "Hey Nikki!" He yelled. "I need out! Can you help me get the door open? Kaltag shut me in here and-" That's when he realized it. It was a trap for him. They lured him there on purpose! He couldn't see a thing. He looked cautiously around at the empty floor, straining his ears to hear anything. "Okay, whoever you are, " He said after two minutes. "Where are you?" He heard some cans move. He whirrled around to the direction it came from. He lifted his nose to the air. His eyes got wide. He smelled something familiar. It was Steele. He paused to think a minute. How could he get out? Was anyone else close enough to hear a loud noise? How many others were in the building? How much time did he have until they attacked? He heard footsteps over on the opposite side of the room. They were heavy, careless sounding footsteps. Teal took note of this, thinking that if he ever got out alive he would make Steele and whoever that was pay. He had mixed feelings about Kaltag. He was mad that he had shut him in there, but at the same time he was almost sure that Steele had made him do it. He knew that Kaltag wasn't that kind of dog. He heard someone growl softly. Then another from the other side of the 100x100 warehouse. There were about ten seconds of silence, then suddenly someone rammed him from the side, sending him rolling along the floor. He knew by the size that it was Steele. He was slashing, biting, and growling. Teal put up a good defense, but then Nikki jumped into the middle of them. Teal didn't know who the second dog was, but whoever it was they both fought like they wanted him dead. The fighting went on until Teal was in a very vulnerable position, on his back with his neck exposed. Steele pounced on him, and sank his teeth into Teal's throat. If he hadn't thrown Steele off of him, he would've punctured his jugular vien, and Teal would've likely bled to death. But Steele had not yet found out just how powerful Teal's back legs were. He did. With both of Teal's back legs on Steele's underside-middle, He kicked as hard as he could, sending Steele into a pile of empty shipping crates that were stacked along the wall, knocking him out cold. Teal scrambled up to his feet, blood dripping from his neck, and took the second one on. Nikki was stout, but not as big as Teal. Nikki went for his throat, trying to finish what Steele had started. Teal slashed him, cutting two furrows in the side of his face. Then he grabbed Nikki by the back of the neck, clamped down hard, swung him in a half circle, and let go. Nikki traveled a short distance above ground, then collided with a wall, putting him out of conciousness. Teal stood there breathing hard. He had to get out, and he had to get out now. His bleeding neck was dangerous. If he didn't get out and get some human help, he would have big problems.

He didn't know what to do. An idea came to him as he paced around. He went over to what he thought was the door and yelled, "Kaltag! Kaltag can you hear me!?" No answer. He hit a stack of shipping crates in anger. He moved closer to the door, hoping to find an opening or something when he fell into a sort of hole. This wasn't where the door was. He discovered that there was more to that hole. He crawled a short ways on his stomach, squeezing through a cold dirt tunnel. Then he came to a dead end. He started digging at it, and after a few seconds he saw daylight, and after a few more seconds, he was standing outside. He shook the dirt and snow off, sprinkling the snow lightly with blood, and sprinted towards where Tera had shown him the hospital was, hoping to get some help. The docter was outside on the porch sitting in a chair. Teal knew that he was just a human docter, but he thought that if he could stop someone from bleeding, he was as good a docter as he needed. He saw Teal coming and ran inside to get his owner. "Hey Toby! Come here quick! Your dog's bleeding like crazy!" Toby came running out the door, saw Teal, and quickly put a white towel he had on his shoulder around Teal's bloody neck. With some pressure on the injury and time, they got the bleeding to stop. Toby was furious. "Who did this to you Teal? It's kind of my fault, I guess. I should've made sure I knew where you were." He made sure Teal wasn't bleeding anymore, then said, "You stay around here okay boy?" Teal licked his master, then trotted off to the mill room. When he got there and Tera saw him, she ran over to him saying, "Teal! Are you okay?" She closed her eyes and nuzzled him, trying not to push on the towel very much. Teal didn't say anything, but that nuzzle felt really good. "They told me you got hurt, who did it?"
"I don't know. It was in that old building near the edge of town. It was pitch dark in there so I couldn't make out both of them."
"BOTH of them!?"
"Yeah. One was-" He lowered his voice and put his mouth close to her ear. "One of them was Steele." Her eyes got wide. She asked him in a hushed tone, "Why do you have to whisper that?" One of the other dogs asked, "Hey Teal, what happened?"
"Uh, um-" Tera stepped in front of him. "Steele and another dog tried to kill him." She said loudly. "What!? Why?" Teal answered, "He said something to me yesterday about me taking all his attention. All his girls, and that I'm trying to take tera away from him." Tera looked shocked. "He said what!? I've never heard anything more stupid in my life!" Teal continued, "Nikki must've been the other one." There were murmurs from the others. "Yeah, because he's the one that told me to come to the warehouse with him to check out a cool scent. When I got there, he said he had to go check something. I went inside and after about 2 minutes, I look behind me and Kaltag is shutting the door." More mumbling, then Teal went on. "I know it sounds like Kaltag is terrible, but I do not doubt in the least that Steele made him do it. He said 'I'm sorry' before he pushed the door shut.

This fic is already much longer than the average I think you'll have to wait before I put on the site, because as I said in the topic I just created in that section, I prefer to put completed fics on the site. Sorry for the wait, at least it will give you more wish to finish it

It was really dark in there. The only way I knew it was Steele is the size when he hit me and by his scent."
"Who did that to you?" Another dog asked, nodding at Teal's neck. "That would be Steele. I got on my back and he tried to bite my head off, but I threw him off before he got the job done."
"How?"
"I put my back legs under him, around his stomach, and I just kicked really hard and got him off."
"How did you get out?"
"I walked over to what I thought was the door, fell into a hole, crawled a short ways through a tunnel, dug through a thin layer of snow, and I was out." He could hear more murmers. Then Kaltag walked into the room. Everybody stared at him. He looked at them, then at Tera (who was still standing beside Teal) and then at Teal. "Hey." He said nervously, but with deep concern in his voice. He saw the bloodstained towel around Teal's neck. "Hey man, I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. It's just that Steele-" Teal motioned with his head that he understood. With a comforting voice he said, "It's okay Kaltag, I know."
"Nikki's the other one."
"I know that too."
"How did you get out?" Teal told Kaltag the story and spent the next hour talking about it with the others. Whil that was happening, Steele and Nikki were making their way back to the kennel when Toby saw him from his window. He ran out the door and over to Steele. "Wait boy! Wait a second." He looked at Steele's mouth and chin. They were matted with blood. "So you did this to Teal, huh?" Toby said in an angry tone. He stood up and hit Steele on the side of the face. "You better be happy I don't do more, mutt." Steele growled and snapped at Toby. He just walked away. Steele charged him. Toby started running, Steele close behind, growling and barking, furious that a human had dared hit him. He almost got Toby, but the hospital door kept them apart. Steele and Nikki went to the kennel where nobody else was. "What are we going to do now, Steele?"
"I don't know. First I gotta get this blood off me. If the others see it, well, you know."
"Then what? Are you still going to take him out? You got close back there."
"Not for a while, at least. I don't want rumors to start. Teal's probably told them all about it but, I don't want any more damage done to me that can be helped." Nikki replied angrily, "What about me!?"
"What about you?"
"I've got a rep to protect too ya know. And not to make anyone in particular angry, but it's considerably better than yours. Come to think of it, I don't even know why I helped you. Why did I even consider getting involved in this? You asked me to help you kill someone, and I agreed! What was I thinking!? You insulted Kaltag in an unnaceptable way, you want to kill someone just because he's more popular than you are, you care more about your shabby excuse for a reputation than you do mine, and mine is better if I do say so myself! You're the most selfish dog I've ever seen! DANG! I can't believe I was so twisted. I can't believe I got sucked into your sick hatred so easily. I'm out of it. You're on your own." With that, Nikki got up, gave Steele a menacing glare, and headed off to the mill to see if he could set things strait. "COME BACK HERE YOU STINKIN' FOUR-LEGGED WUSS!!" Steele yelled, but it didn't do any good. Nikki got to the mill door, paused for a minute, then went inside. Teal saw him, gave him an angry look, and said, "You have a lot of nerve, to show your face after what you did to me."
"I know, Teal. And I know it doesn't fix anything, but I've come here to say I'm sorry. I know it sounds wimpy, but I don't know what else to do or say. I don't want to be hated by everybody, I want your forgiveness. Please."
"I don't hate you Nikki. But I will keep my eye on you. I'm not tryin' to run this place, but I need to do what I can to keep myself from being killed, you know? You're going to have to convince me again that you can be trusted."
"I'm sorry. I don't know what I was thinking. I can't believe that I got sucked into his evil that easily." Everyone was silent. how could you end a conversation like that? Teal and NIkki finished and after an hour or two, Teal heard a bell. "What's that?"
"That's the dinner bell." Tera answered. "I wish he'd just call us. That bell thing is kind of dumb."
"It does seem a little wierd."
"He doesn't do it all the time, but I still don't like it." They all went to the kennel where they found a bowl of food set out for each of them. Everyone got to their bowl and started eating. Tera tried to get a bowl but every time she found one another dog pushed her out of the way. Apperently the kennel master had left a bowl empty (on accident).

Teal didn't notice, but Tera couldn't get a spot. While he was eating, he looked up and around like all the others did. At first he didn't see anything wrong, but then he saw Tera, sitting by herself, up against the wall. The kennel master had left, so he didn't see her without food. He asked Kaltag, who was eating beside him, "Hey Kaltag, save my spot, will ya?"
"Sure Teal, no problem." Teal walked over to Tera and asked in a kind and gentle voice, "Hey, what are you doing over here? Even I don't eat that fast. Didn't you get food?"
"No, actually. I didn't."
"Why not? Didn't the kennel master give you anything?"
"I don't know. He just got the bowls and left one empty for some reason."
"Well, uh, here, " He took her over to his place. "Take mine." He smiled at her. She smiled back. Kaltag looked up and saw them. He nudged Teal's shoulder. He looked around and Kaltag batted his eyes at him, then he grinned. Teal whispered in his ear, "Stop that, I'm havin' enough trouble without your help." Kaltag gave a hushed laugh, then Teal turned back around. "Are you sure?" She asked. "You've been through a lot today. Aren't you hungry?"
"Yeah, but, I want you to have it." They smiled again and she started eating. He sat over behind her. Steele had cleaned himself up and had come in about ten minutes earlier to eat. Teal decided to take a walk outside. Steele saw him go, and had an idea. "If I apologize to him, and make it sound real and earnest, he'll tell everybody else about it, and they'll probably let me back 'in' so to speak. Then I can get him another time." He grinned at his 'ingenuity' and started off slowly toward Teal. When he caught up with him, he said, "Uh, hey Teal." He turned around. "What do you want?" He snapped. "Hey, ease up I just wanted to talk."
"Yeah? Oh sure I'd just love to have a chat with someone who tried to kill me."
"I know, I know. But what I wanted to say was that I know what I did was wrong, and that I should apologize and ask for your forgiveness." This was very hard for Steele. But he gritted his teeth and went on, using the thought of him ripping Teal apart to make all this easier. Teal arched his eyebrows. "Really. That's a whole lot coming from you."
"Please. I-It would mean a lot to me if I knew that everybody would talk to me again, and if I had your forgiveness."
"I dunno Steele. You're a very hard person to get along with." Steele looked exasperated. "Come on Teal. I'm tryin' hard here. Cut me a break." Teal thought for a minute, then he said in a slow, stern tone of voice, "Steele. . . I'm going to give you another chance. Under one condition: Do not lay one hair on Tera. If you do, I will find out, and I will go straight into that mill and spread so many horrendous lies that will forever wreck you that it'll make your head spin. Got it?"
"Y-yes. I got it. Thanks." Steele said as he walked away. He had just done the hardest thing in his life: ask someone else for forgiveness and saying 'sorry'. "but" He thought. "It'll be worth it when I pound his worthless carcass into the ground." The next morning, the day before another race, Steele was out mentally preparing himself (or at least that what he said he was doing) while Teal was in the mill, talking with the others. "I'm tellin' you, he came up to me and said he was sorry. And that he wanted my forgiveness. He said it meant a lot to him that everyone would talk to him and if he had my forgiveness. I told him I'd give him another chance."

dude, I look back on this thing (it's not even finished, the part that's posted) and I realize just how retarded it was. it was my best work at the time but that was a long time ago. My Kota trilogy is MUCH better than this.

It was a nice fanfiction, you should post it on the site! Except for the blood and gore. It has a little.
