Ooh! I really want an Aussie Cattle Dog, but my dog I have right now doesn't like pups/new dogs. ><

They make great dogs, though are kinda stubborn. But I love them so much. I wish I could bring Houdini home with me, but he's gotta herd the horses at my dad's. cry.gif

Blue heeler, red heeler, gueensland heeler, australian heeler, all of those are other names for the Austrailian Cattle Dog, but I prefer to call them, heelers.

Blue heelers, Red heelers, Queensland heelers, Austrailian Heelers, they're all the same as the Austrailian Cattle Dog.

Smart as border collies. Probably cause they're related. My horse riding instuctor has one named Spur(He got it from when he was a pup and he seemed to love the old fashion riding equitment they had) They taught him to wave, sit, heel, rollover, stay, lay down ect;.. And he's so adorable too

They're so sweet.

I nearly got an ACD/Collie cross from the Dogs Trust shelter where I got Archie. She was called Penny and was so, so intelligent. However, because my little sister was under 12 we couldn't adopt her because she'd had four previous homes and apparently got 'territorial' over her toys and bed. Apparently she'd been through a lot before she was rescued. =/

Supposedly she is STILL there now.. http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/ou ... =1371&pn=2
