I did some snooping of my own through a friend at universal, and he says that there is a strong possibility of this. They are all under non disclosure agreements. SO they cannot say anything iron. But he says, that unless something goes amiss, Balto 4, will come out in Dec. 06, or Jan/Feb 07.

This is just IMPOSSIBLE. Releasing in theaters is way too much costy. If it was possible they would have released the Land before time sequels in theaters instead.
Same for Balto dying, remember that it's still a film for children and I have rarely seen (not to say never) the main character dying.
Besides, it would be impossible that it would come out this year or even in 2007 because they clearly said a few months ago that they haven't got any sequel planned.
