Even identical twins have differences so it is very likely that it would be the same with cloned pets, its a rather macabrae idea anyway :pale:

I don't disagree with Genetic modification though, it could be useful in the future but we have to be careful.

Cloning your dead pet will not bring it back to life. Sure, it might look the same, but that's it. It will have a mind of it's own, and it won't recognise you. A clone is an entirely different animal, that just happens to have the same DNA.
