All I wonder is how does this girl get the ability to talk to Kenai?
(I know that in BB2, Kenai is, of course, a bear - In the first film it was clear as crystal that humans cannot understand "animal-speak", but the animals somehow can understand both humans and animals. *sigh* Talking animal movies are so confusing! Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that she's related to that "sha-woman" lady from the trailer . . . or maybe it's a spiritual type of thing, I guess?)
Oh well, we'll have to wait until the end of the month to see, huh? ^__^
At least it does look good for a DTV sequel . . . I think it has lots of promise! (Kind of like Bambi 2/Bambi and the Great Prince was when it was released earlier this year)

I really liked the first movie, so I'm interested in the second. It actually looks pretty good, all things considered.
If you go to Disney's website for Brother Bear 2 you can watch an 8 minute preview of the movie.

Well, this is all I know about the film:
Kenai and Koda somehow meet Nita, a girl that Kenai had befriended as a young boy. And it has something to do with love, I can tell (mainly because, well what do you think? Whenever a past lover returns, doesn't that automatically mean that that'll get together? Usually, it does.), since not only is there chemistry between Kenai and Nita (a sort of love-hate relationship, it seems), but also the moose (Rutt and Tuke - the Canadian-speaking ones) also have their adventures with trying to hook themselves a mate.
(I don't understand one thing: Why does the bottom of the DVD cover say "The Moose are on the Loose," when the moose aren't even the main stars? At least we only have a week left before its release! YAY.)

Yeah, I noticed that. But the movie really isn't about the moose at all! Why else would it be called "Brother Bear 2?"
I know that the moose do have some sort of a large (omg?) role in the film (from what I've seen of it from trailers and commercials), and it's something about hooking up with females.
Should we be scared? eep. (at least I like Rutt and Tuke much better than the gangster-dueling moose from WoC)

I bought it too (Saturday after work!) and I just finished watching it about a half hour ago.
Wow, that was better than what the previews made it to be! And it was actually a sequel! (OMG, no way?) If anyone hasn't seen it yet, make sure you watch it!
