I saw the masked pup as a female too, and I named her Lena. As for the one with the bridgeline, I saw him as a male. I was going to call him Kiro and change his appearance to be a little more like Aleu, but that wasn't working, so he's going to stay as he was in the movie and be named Artemis. His role wouldn't be as major as it was in the other versions of my rewrite of the movie, but still important.

Well I didn't notice that, but females look bigger then males.

When I mean bigger I don't mean bulging with muscel bigger but if you were to look at 2 huskies in real life, one male the other female, one of the diffrences is that the female has a bigger but more sleek rib cage, the male has a bit smaller rib cage but has more muscel around and on the rib cage then the female.

But it's good that you bring that up coz well it's intersting and im suprised I didn't notice.

I noticed that pup too, I always thought it was weird coz when I watched the 'somebody wants you' scene when the pups are being adopted only Aleu (of course) and that pup had different markings...all the others had Jennas markings, if you look closely you'll see it, odd.

it could did have a face gene of balto and jenna, the body of karian is ok, but she has a mixed face gene

The pup with the all white muzzle for me is Taya. As for the one with the red strip... I'm not sure, but it'll be a male.

*hugs* I know that not everyone calles that pup "Kiona". I think Denali is an awsome name for him, too!! Just some people don't have a lot of imagination and perfer to just 'take' the name "Kiona" after Cat made her. That pup for me is Taya and no one knows that name yet. >< (Prolly good thing, though)

never noticed that. I've never heard about hte name Dakota. That pup has a different name is different fanfics.
