That seemed to be the greatest lenght he fell before an impact. I thought the same thing that you were, Roxas, when i saw that part of the movie but then i had to take a physics class. I dunno, after i passed that I happened to turn on Balto and it didn't seem so far fetched. Maybe he did get some injury since he was stumbling alot after that fall, but apparently he wasn't too bothered by it since he took his time to tell about what happened. Trying to make him seem the hero. But honestly, what's the differance. That scene proved that Steele had a high endurance level.
I agree. His fall was broken many times, plus he couldn't have been hurt THAT bad to make more marks on the trees, trying to confuse Balto.

Eeyeah. Okay, see? I just want to state, for the record, that I'm stepping away from this before it heats up (if it ever does). I just didn't know who Cat was referring to (by the by...Cat's a she).
I'm neutral on this one. Totally.

(thinska rent heating up *hides knife*) I relise that what I am also confused on is how he could have made it ahead of balto after that fall, that is all.

there were a lot of things like that in the movie. Like the bear fight or when the dogs are left to freeze in the snow.

You gotta use your head on that one. Think. Balto did mark the trail so that guided Steele back in the right direction. But he put marks similar to Balto's on other trees to confuse Balto. So, the marks were no help to him after Steele did that. So, while Steele was heading towards Nome, Balto and the others were trying to find the right way towards Nome. Common sense can tell you who would make it there first.

Of course I was. I have my real answer in []. Haven't you noticed that in just about every movie be it animated or live action the truth is always bent alittle? It's why I call movies a vacation from realiaty. ^_^ Don't think too much into the movie in realiaty anyway. I mean can dogs really talk?

M-hm! And what about the part where Balto is covered in snow? He'd probably been there a while, how did he breathe?

You know guys it really does'nt matter, it's a movie, movies always bend the truth to fit the story better, Balto would've been boring if Steele died when he fell or Balto died when he was under the snow or Balto and/or Jenna were seriously hurt by fighting the bear, it would'nt have been as entertaining and dogs have been known to endure things much worse than any human could survive, so just remember that it's only a movie and therefor not real.

I agree its just plan frecky.
