I've gone through three eye surgeries each were progressively harder then the previous but I went into each knowing I could pull through it better then before. Each seemed to have a different prep procedure as well so it made my nerves a little shakey. The last one freaked me out since my previous surgeries I was able to reawaken in the recovery room and felt a little nauseas but was able to see everybody and drink... my last one I wasn't able to open my eyes and as I tried to the doctors freaked out and rushed at me telling me don't open them. I hadn't encountered that before and I eventually passed back out I think. The next time I awoke my father was there and I still couldn't see.. They wheel-chaired me down to a van and we went back to the hotel room where I could eat and drink... blind... lol that was an experience but now I can see better then ever and I came through perfectly fine with very little to no pain.. I think the most pain I had was just the IV needle that felt like somebody just poking me lightly with their fingernail.. they had some cool patches with some stuff to numb my hands.. I want to get some of that stuff, it was so cool,

... but yes overall nothing to worry about.. docotor are professionaly trained for this work and know what they're doing, they will usually make sure your comfort is a high priority.... of course your health is a little higher, lol
