Black Shimmer wrote: Really good suggestions Seppala. I agree with most of them. I don't think sylvie is a Borzoi, because of the ears. I think Mel looks most like the match you chose for him. Bravo to you on that one. For Kodi to. His match and himself to look similar. I don't like your suggestions for Doc. I don't think he looks much like either of those two dogs. Then again, I have to admit Doc is a hard one. I might try to find a match for him myself. I'm off to Google.....
Well, once again, that's the beauty of this...no one is wrong. I'm totally cool with anyone disagreeing over my conclusions. Everyone should be able to look upon each of those dogs (and their breeds) however they wish. After all, they're just cartoons. Heh heh...
No foul, Black Shimmer.

Read the original post. It seems similar to one of the "Balto breeds" articles.

Well, is that really important though? Was it necessary to point it out? I mean, it's cool that there's a "Balto breeds" article. It really is. I was simply offering my take on it...not posting an official "they are" kind of thing. And I stated it as such...my take...my opinions. And I acknowledged that folks might have differing opinions on it, and that that would be cool. Some of them have posted them here, and that's really awesome! Unless I totally misunderstood the context of your post (and if I did, then I'm sorry), but it looks like a killjoy move to me.
I'm not fingering you on this next statement specificially, but I just don't understand the propensity for a select few members of Balto Source to have to bring down the good feel and mood of a thread by having to point out "that's already been said in the ..... topic". I do understand the interest in saving bandwidth, sure.
But this post is, at best, only similar to the article you mentioned. Not the same. And each appears to be one person offering their opinions (at least I am certain mine is). Such things happen a lot in forums, and it is not really a waste of bandwidth.
People who do such things, who seem stoked to point such things out (as if, by doing so, they're demonstrating either how clever or how "helpful" they can be, usually only foster animosity by doing so.

Well, im suprised you'd let such a simple comment "ruin" your fun anyway. Maybe you could just let is pass and not give a lecture for everyone who pisses you off. And yes, yes, it foster much animosity, and you are very open to giving it.
I'm sure you do know that people ALWAYS do this, and you just need to learn how to ignore them.

O-M-G can you ever take a little bit of correction without trying to justify your position? He just made a simple comment, don't get yourself into such a snit over it. Like Ghraeh said, people are always doing this, just ignore them.
This is an interesting topic, don't let random users ruin it.
