I'm not getting into this. It's common sense that sending real photos of yourself on the internet nowadays is dangerous. Online predators lurk on sites like these, whether we see them or not. I point it out and many told me it's not a big deal showing people pictures of themselves. IT IS.

You don't know how ingenious online predators are, they're cunning and persuasive and MANY KIDS fall for it! No matter how smart they are! They'll see kids on this site, just pick them out, I dont know if it's random or what, but then they start talking to them privately and no one knows what's going on at all!

And if you think that no online predators are on this site, then your mother threw you to the ground on your head at a young age. And if you think it's wrong that I'M concerned and you brush me off like I dont care about kids being abducted, then you are one cold-hearted mindless *******.

I could always just tell everyone that I don't care if they get abducted by a crazy sex fiend, but I don't! You fail to realize that I could just be one other person in this world to not care, but I do!

...I agree with Cat, posting one's picture ANYWHERE online demintrates a level of ineptitude that borders on the imbecilic. (yes I went as far as to quote a disney movie) I don't mean offense to anyone who does so, but I just find it to be a direct act against common sence.
Also one's screen name can be dangerous even with just a first or last name. Not because it can endanger you (the ods of that happening are highly unlikely) , but because it could endanger someone else with the same first name.
Finally I also agree with Cat's most recent statement. Do NOT under any secrumstances under estimate an online predator. They are cunning b-tards, sometimes knowing how to hack your computer and steal your information.

Yah, and I guess the bad part is when they use both their real name AND a picture of themselves XD

Actullu wait, putting your picture up is not really that bad, it doesn't have any personal information, so even if someone well you know what with a yeah then they would have to do alot of work to find addreses, phone numbers and ex, same with a real name tho, how do you know it's someones real name? I could my name as mike, it's not mike but you didn't know that, so even if someone put there real name, no one would know if it was true or not, and if that person told then well they are responcible for saying it.

But I do respect this topic alot, but if there is no address or phone number or any info on how to reach that person, then it's really not harmfull.
