Agreed. I'd like to see us all move beyond what now appears to be a resolved issue.
I just wanted to add one thing, now that I am back. I wanted to thank everyone who has given me the benefit of the doubt here, and expressed their thanks and their hopes for a brighter outcome. While the private communications between Cat and I started out rather tense and abrasive, we seem to have reached an agreement which will benefit everyone, and that can't be anything but a victory.
Okay, a few things I said in my e-mail to her are actually beyond her ability to fix. Similarly, while I have taken the last several days to individually message, on MySpace, every member there who has Balto Source fan art on their page (with
or without permission from the particular artists...just to cover all the bases), and posted a blog to that effect, there's no way I can compel them to do anything. Some have responded by removing the art, some have either not replied yet, or may be ignoring the requests I made. I guess there will always be some incorrigibles, huh? And there are more I still have to reach. It's gonna take some time, and I ask for everyone to please try and be patient. I will do my best!
What I hope is that each of you will come to see me as the friendly, decent and reasonable person I really am, and allow this now old argument to fade into obscurity. I came here to Balto Source, even before I started posting, because I am also a die-hard fan of the three cartoons, as well as an avid afficinado of the real history behind the first cartoon. And, occasionally, I like to role-play. I do, however, hope to have many good chats with all of you, and build friendships...as I have done on MySpace.
Additionally, while I am not much of an artist, I am a writer, and I have been working on some stories (some of which are the results of role-plays on MySpace) that I hope to post once they are completed and edited. I hope, when they are posted, you will enjoy them!
Thanks again everyone.
