Bambi is a form of art

Well, Bambi's mom is shot (and killed), Faline is chased by dogs, a pheasant gets shot, BAMBI gets shot, and there's a forest fire! That's enough for me. The novel has much more action though.

I don't think Bambi is that violent it is a kids movie

Pffft. That's what they all say, but it's true! I watch it very often! I know it well! You can ask anybody who has seen Bambi. By the way, I rate the novel with a PG-13.

war movies are ten times more violent and I can watch them over an over

Violence is why I don't like war movies...I don't like war itself. I'm pretty hippyish...I was shocked at the violence in the novel Bambi, as for the violence in the movie Bambi, I can take that, but some parents don't let their kids watch Bambi because of all that I listed above.

Well, I don't know of any war movies, but yeah, I COULD watch one.

I just thought I would give you a tiny sample of the violence in the novel Bambi. This is straight from the book:

Another time the squirrel raced about with a great wound in his neck where the ferret had caught him. By a miracle the squirrel had escaped. He could not talk because of the pain, but he ran up and down the branches. Everyone could see him. He ran like mad. From time to time he stopped, sat down, raised his forepaws desperately and clutched his head in terror and agony while the red blood oozed on his white chest. He ran about for an hour, then suddenly crumpled up, fell across a branch, and dropped dead in the snow. A couple of magpies flew down to begin their meal.

that is not bad or full of action that is weak

There's more intense stuff in there. Trust me.

the animation is ok but not as good as balto the music stinks it is rather dull and the plot is rather boring and pointless I watched it when I was five and I haven't seen it in 12 years
