I agree with everything all you guys have said, it's becoming shameful, people insist on being silly and rude to others and some post comments that really did'nt need to be posted at all.

So what, if you don't like something it's fair enough to say so, the whole point of a forum is to state your opinion but if someone else replys to your reply saying you are wrong almost everyone replys back saying they are wrong and to shut up, it's pathetic, of course some people will disagree, everyone is different but there is no need to fight about it.

The only plauseable solution I can see is for older members of this site to set the example to everyone else by acting more mature and showing respect to everyone else and ignoring people who flame topics and instead of locking a whole topic mods could PM the person in question and tell them what they are doing wrong and tell them to stop and if they persist they should be banned for a short while as a warning instead of locking a whole topic, unless the topic itself is one big war then the mods are right to lock it, all we need to do is show more respect and older members should try to set an example to others too.

I wish to not offend anyone, but me & my family do not 'speak' to each other. I do not speak to them, they do not speak to me. If they do-- I simply ignore them.

I really have to agree with Black Shimmer, and accept that we are all guilty of that, I was not planing to post anything anymore but finally a peace topic finally something smart showed up, I would try to solve my fights peacefully but this goes beyond the trying to stop things, because it's not as simple as it seems, it's hard to explain but all I am going to do is sit back on my computer and go to another site until this mess is over, Some people don't have the slightest idea of what's going on but they flame me anyways like in pg 70, but I know I've done nothing wrong and that I have tried to stop this before and no one can, so my mind is clean, I won't fight any longer if someone flames me then go ahead they won't change anything exept the way they look flaming other people, well this is my case pretty sure no one cares but I rather try to make peace then to continue fighting, fighting only makes more and more fights so it will never solve anything. Thanks to the people who try to make peace.

Yeah. We're supposed to be spreading the spirit of Balto. Did he insult anybody? Did he ever get revenge after someone (namely Steele) made fun of him or tried to hurt him? No! Balto helped out others whenever he could, defended his family without hurting anyone, never acted immature by insulting Steele or anyone back after they insulted him! Everyone should act the same way, follow Balto's example! We're all a part of Balto Source, aren't we? We all love Balto, don't we? So let's show our love for him by spreading his spirit!

Now BaltoSource hit that depression. You'd all better pray that some ray of light comes shining down to revive the good times before more bitter and hostile events embark this way.

Not to mention about 1,000 members that signed up never post anything useful or do anything to make this site attractive, so I would say "Hey; there is a wasted 50% of our forum members. Great job World. Thumbs High!". Yep, I'd say things are falling apart - what with all the flaming, complaining, leaving, and blah, blah, blah pointless topics that are posted. These things helped kill the "spirit" of the forums. (not to mention all the crap about stealing/theft, killing the fan art/fan fiction sections)

As for those that are trying to cheer this place up, I have no idea if any of that will be heard in a dying light...

We could bring Balto Source back to it's former glory if we all work together to stop the flaming and the wars and to help everyone get along, of course there will always be differing opinions, everyone is different, if they were'nt the world would be boring, all we need to do is help people to realize that flaming is totally pointless, so what, you don't like something, you say so, that's it, you don't need to defend your desicion, if we all just sit back and let this happen soon we won't have a Balto Source anymore and that'll be a shame for everyone.

Yeah, see the problem with the whole family idea is we don't exactly know who everyone REALLY is in real life...But...I like your idea whitewolf(uk) of helping "bring Baltosource back" to light again...But maybe it is just too late...But I'm not about to complain anymore about how new members spam. I've seen about all I can take though about that whole art theft thing. Once people saw what Cat posted they had to follow her. Well, not everyone. Baltosource just didn't need all those complaint topics about Myspace. I really mean no offence, infact right now I'm quite happy, but maybe those complaints about Myspace should've been kept off of Baltosource. That whole Baltoseppala episode was bad enough.

But you know, the damage is already done. No use trying to say things you can't undo. Ah well....Maybe someday Baltosource will calm down again. But untill then...I like your idea...

That could work a second try never kills anyone but I think it won't work, someway or another people will find a way to manipulate and continue the mess, eventually it will die out, then there will be peace until another cycle starts, but when it has to do with the main idea it won't work because people won't flame and have wars directly they will have them going on but "hidden" more things will be going on and just because people don't flame each other will stop it, eventually they will suck the dry and "rott" in the community they destroyed, well like the topic said respect thoughts just because they are different doesn't mean they are wrong so that's why think you guys should try the respectful idea and then if it doesn't work this idea. I am really grateful to the people who don't sit back and fight thinking "that will not solve the problem but I will win this discusion and look smarter than them that's what matters" and to the people who take action knowing how far this has gone but still fight it.
