Chapter 2: The Meeting

The Humans unloaded Storm from the van into the New York Zoo in Central Park and carried her cage into a large opening of what seemed like a forest. "Maybe they aren't trying to hurt me, just relocate me to a new forest. But she soon found out it wasn't real, she sniffed the rocks, they weren't real.

Then, another female wolf was walking towards her, Storm started to back up, but before she turned to run, this fae walked up to her and said, "Howdy! My name's Lightning! What's yours?"

Storm didn't know what to make of this strange fae, but replied hesitantly, "Uh, hi.., my name's Storm, nice to meet ya." Lightning said back, "They (the Humans) named me Lightning because of my speed. Wanna see?" she sped off and circled the pen they were enclosed in within a matter of seconds. When she stopped, she appeared right in front of Storm again. "W-w-Wow! That was amazing!" Storm said surprised.

Lightning sensed Storm's thoughts about her. "Sorry, I tend to be hyper a lot. I'll stop bugging you," she walked off with her head down and her tail between her legs. Storm felt bad for her, "That's alright, I'm not used to my surroundings yet, so I'm a bit tense." Then, Lightning perked her ears up, "Heh, okay, wanna be friends?"

Chapter 3: The Friendship Begins

Storm was reluctant at answering, but then said, "Sure," and walked off, smelling everything, to find out about her new surroundings. She wondered how Lightning could stand the enclosure, you couldn't run around as much. She was curious, s she walked to where Lightning had layed down at.

"Have you lived here all your life?" Storm asked Lightning. Lightning's head shot up, "Yeah! Isn't it great?" Storm spoke to her quickly, "No, it's not, I had more fun with my brothers and sisters in Alaska, but they were taken to a seperate zoo, only because I was the oldest." Lightning put her head back down sadly at Storm's answer. "Sorry, would you tell me more about the wild?" Storm smiled, "Sure."

Storm spoke quietly, "In the Wild, you get to hunt down your own food, don't have to do what the Humans tell you to do, run around whenever you want, don't have to perform for an audience, etc, etc.." Lightning cocked her eas a bit, "Sounds interesting, how long had you lived in the Wild?" "My whole life, I'm almost 3 now," Storm replied proudly.

Lightning was shocked, "Wow! She must be one tough wolf then!" Storm felt Lightning's thoughts, and said, "Heh, I am, thank you for the compliment. Since you feel so strongly about the Wild, what do ya say about me teaching you a few things, like for one, hunting?" Lightning jumped up wildly, "Yeah! That would be great!"

They both ran to the woodiest part of the enclosure, and Storm started to go into detail about hunting, "Now, you gotta crouch down like this, then you slowly crawl along the snow white ground, then, you wait a couple minutes until the prey comes within 10 feet of you, then you bolt acroos the ground as fast you can, and pounce on it, and stick your fangs into its neck, and hold on its neck for 50 seconds, and, VOILA! It is dead!"

Lightning shivered a bit at the thought of killing something, "I can't imagine killing my own food." "The Humans serve you meat, right?" Storm was shocked. Lightning replied hesitantly, "Right.. but it's already dead, and in the form of people food, not it's natural form." Storm rolled her eyes, "Well, you'll get used to it in the Wild." Lightning perked her ears up, "What'ddya mean I will get used to it?"

Storm laughed deviously, "I mean, we're gonna break outta this dump, and find our way back to Alaska. But first, we need a plan."

i would continue, since telling about the wild is still about the scene they're in. thay made NO sence... but please continue^^

oh and i have a question are you going to tell the whole fan fic here or are you going to stop after a couple of chapters and then finish the rest and put it in the fan fic area

Good question, I was thinking about that exact thing just a second ago. I'm probably gonna have the first 3 chapters as Part 1, then when I complete the last 3 chpaters, that will be Part 2! Like that idea?

yes that's a good idea, but in part two are you going to post it here or keep it secret until you have finished it and than post it in the fan fic area and maybe even start a seiries like alot of other writers do

Hmm, I just might do that, but I'll probably post the next 3 chapters here, and put them as Part 2 in the Fanfic Section.

Sounds cool so far, I can't wait for the rest of it.
