But I havent played Sly in one day, I have a life. But thats about how long it takes even with saves.
I never said I didn't have one I have like 12 of them but it just isn't a big deal for me staying a couple of hours just watching a screen to see what to do or not I rather come to the computer when it's my turn to use it, have you played Shrek 2?

12 memory cards?? At the price that they are?? Here in France, you have no choice : there is absolutely no non-official memory cards, so you're forced to buy the official one. And it is 35-40€ (40-50$!) Another reason I don't want to buy a ps2...I paid my gamecube memory cards 3-5€
Sony even sell a "thing" to put your console vertically instead of horizontally, at the price of 15€...(20$!)...Now, that's what I call fooling people, the console is already too much expensive for what it is, and moreover they put completly insane prices to items like memory cards, pads etc...
15 hours is rather a short game, but I also prefer short games because long games are often very repetitive and boring...(except some RPGs like Final fantasy)

Well frist off Yah thats alot of money for a Memory Card!! Here it's like $30 or so, and second no one buys the stand because it's useless. But You still get more with buying the PS2 than you do with buying a Gamecube and Xbox. Well frist off the Xbox is good for not having to buy a memory card but if you want to play movies you have to buy a movie play back kit. The Gamecube where to start... Well frist off if you bought it new you payed entirely too much now they are less than $100! and it like the Xbox cant play old games like the PS2 cant do, and also you cant play DVD's or CD's, And also there is'nt any really good games for it, yah there is the expected Mario, DK, Metroid Prime, and so on. But really it depends on what you like and in the end I love the PS2 and cant wait for the PS3.

PS2 emulation isn't good at all for the moment, and maybe it never will...PS2 is a very complicated system, and it's hard for the programmers to make games on it. The only reason there are so many games out on it, is because people bought it because of the success of the first playstation.
PS2 emulation is actually a reality. There are working emulators for it. However, most computers simply can't handle the power needed to make it work. *sigh* I would show you all the emulator, but that makes steet mad. ^^

Quote: if you bought it new you payed entirely too much now they are less than $100! Err, the PS2 was around 500€ when it was released, and now it is 150€ (that I find still too expensive) I have no use for a dvd player, I only use my PC one. Quote: there is'nt any really good games for it You know what, I've much more difficulty to find games interesting me on PS2 and even more on Xbox than Gamecube... If I would make a list of all the good games on this console, there would be around 50 of them... Besides most of the games look better on it because it's more powerful (Resident evil 4 PS2 is an horror compared to the GC version ) and have very little loading times. And you'll see that even most third-parties best games are on this console. But I don't want to start a war here, so everyone can have his own opinion. All I can say is that it is for me the best console I've ever played on IMO, followed by the playstation 1. I still think you're completly mistaken by all the Sony marketing and don't really see the truth. PS2 would have never worked if it wasn't for the ps1 success. Yet, for the moment, I'm more interested in the PS3 for the next generation. Because if Revolution is as much "revolutionnary" as the DS, then it's over for me. I don't care about playing old school games, emulation is there for that. Quote: PS2 emulation is actually a reality. There are working emulators for it. Well, PS2 emulation is far from making games really playable for the moment, and probably won't be until a long time. Because the PS2 is a much complicated machine, for the programmers. It's really a pain for the developpers to work on it. If there are so many games on it, it's only because it's the console that was the most sold. (so business, business...)
The gamecube emulation is the most advanced of this generation (with the dreamcast too, but it's older) because the machine has been designed only for gaming, and it's easier to program on it. As for Xbox, the emulators are not really advanced, and I don't know too much the reason. (Probably no interest since 90% of the Xbox games are also on the PC)
BTW, emulation is not illegal in itself, as long as you play games that you own.

It's ok if you dont like the PS2 but I still love Mine and it's my favorite console, and all that we know about the Revolution is you'll be able to play all the old Nentendo games
