Tell her that it's your character, therefore you have the right to do whatever you want with it. Also, tell her to layoff with the grammar corrections and everything. If she makes a nasty answer tell her to back off and that unless she treat you with some repsect, then you are done. Tell her that, and end with that. You don't need to listen to this, and the whole grammar thing? That would drive me crazy. Good Luck and stay strong.
