How do you expect that a film that only a minority of people know, would be in such a top...This top doesn't show quality but popularity.
Now blame Universal for this...
I'm thinking of writing an article about EVERYTHING I know about this situation, because it seems it isn't clear to everyone...

Balto didn't have a cinematic release like those films did and it wasn't very popular, even though it's a family film it's been critisised for not living up to the actual story of Balto and being too 'kiddy' for adults. :?

It didn't? But I've heard so many people say that they saw it in theaters about 10 or so years ago...

Yes it did because I saw it on the big screen. XD If it hadn't have gone to theaters the quality would have been crap.

I saw it ages ago and I wasn't surprised. Bob Hoskins (voice of Boris) narrated it though so he could have recommended it. Balto isn't well known and 100 Greatest are showing popular films.

Well I guess people are getting bored of the legend then.

Maybe..*laughs* well hope not cuz wolves are awesome!

Yeah but only Balto 1&2 had something to do with wolves so its really not about wolves.

It sucks that Balto wasn't on the list, but as you can see people are moving on from kids movies to more advanced, and well people who saw the balto movies when they were young mya still love them but what about the youth, the new kids to come into this world, they have never heard of the balto movies or the legend himself and well most of them will never see or know of the movies, but if they did Balto could be high up in the ranks, but there needs to be someone who has seen them to show the younger generations, I know I showd all of my little cuzzins these movies and well they used to be with The Land Before Time Movies and after I showd them the Balto movies they all were like Balto is way better and some of them actully took there LBT movies and smashed them saying Balto is way better then those peices of crap, one of my cuzzins said the S word insted and well I laughed and said thats right.

My cuzzins are now huge fanatics of Balto but too bad that there is not alot of kids getting to see them or even know of the legend himself, oh well.

*out of no where the TV turns on and a happy looking guy said to a kid* whats your favorite kids movie? *the boy replys* the Land before time *the guy say* NO NO you have it all wrong, *the kid then says* huh? *the guy says* you want balto *the kid says * whats balto *the guy screams in terror and sits the kid down and makes him watch all the balto movies* your right, balto is way better the guy the says* now what do you do? *the kid replys* time to smashy smashy TLBT *the guy then says* NOW YOU'V GOT IT *cheer leaders say* HE's GOT IT *the kid then smashes all of the TLBT movies he has* thanks for showing me the best movie of all time * the guy then says* no problem *the guy winks and a sparkle shines on his tooth* SO KIDS WHAT DID WE LEARN TODAY? *the kids say* WE LEARNED TO LOVE BALTO AND SMASH TLBT MOVIES!!!!!! *the guys then says* THATS RIGHT!!!!!

WARNING:

THAT WAS A EXLUSEVE ADVERTISMENT FOR BALTO AND IF YOUR KIDS SUDDENLY SMAHS ALL THERE LAND BEFORE TIME MOVIES AND ALWAYS WATCHES THE BALTO MOVIES DON'T WORRY PARENTS THIS IS A GOOD SIGN!!!!!!!!!!

IF YOUR KIDS DON'T LIKE BALTO THEN HIT THEM WITH A RULER STICK AND SAY BAD!!!!!

*the guys as he walks away turns into Balto and grabs his top hat and throughs it into a pile of TLBT movies and the hat blows them to bits* oopse I guess that was my Bomb Hat, Oh well *balto walks off laughing*

I don't think it matters that it isn't liked by many people. It is annoying that it isn't in the 100 Greatest programmes but at least we like it.

Balto fans, beware, you may feel quite angry at this...

I was'nt sure where to put this so I'm putting it here, I was just watching one of those pathetic 100 greatest... shows (I was bored) and this one for 'the 100 greatest family films' and Balto was'nt mentioned at all!!! TLK was there along with tons of other Disney films and Shrek but Balto was nowhere to be seen...Balto was a fantastic family film and I'm really angry that they've ignored it, Grrr....

hmm...and yet it is so popular

0_0 Whoa!! This is sooo old, why'd you bring this up?

What is it about bringing up old topics all of a sudden, loads of people are doing it!

Meh, I'll lock this thing, no point in it anymore.
