Its a person's opinion that thinks what is better, but bear in mind Petz was the first of its kind (like 3D developing in early '92) with interactivity invlolving how a pet would interact to your requests. Nintendogs is just another clone of this franchise (only its in 3D on poor DS graphics). Its not really a difference between the two games- same concept- except newer versions tend to suck... really bad.
[sarcasm] Oooh....astonishing! Never saw that coming! [/sarcasm]

All Nintendo tried to do is resurrect the Petz series, but all they did was create a horrible monster or zombie. Whichever is worse. Shame on you Nintendo: someone beat you to something... ... ...
I agree. Petz is soooo much better!!!! It's original, cute and very interactive, with extra breeds, places and clothes/toys/food!

Good for you...
At least Dogz was easily open-sourced- so you could modify the game how you wanted to exact measures (making your own items, own breeds, etc.)

I'm still never buying Dogz. I love Nintendogs.

The GBA version? Eighteen. I haven't played the PC version yet.

Now that's a question and a half....with Dogz you can get tons of new breeds from the internet and I think there are expansion packs aswell and if you get Dogz 1 then the others after you can build up quite an impressive collection.
I prefer Dogz to Nintendogs although both are good I prefer the original concept.

Interesting. But what about the GBA version? I don't know the graphics of another Dogz, but the GBA's are plain terrible!

Yes the GBA graphics are horrible, I ' think' there are internet downloads for it, you hook it to your PC via USB cable and blah blah, you get the picture, I much prefer the PC version mainly because I don't play GBA games much because the graphics are'nt as good.

Sounds awfully cool! Now all I need is a USB cable!

Infinite. Anything you could ever think of. (that also includes items, houses, interactions, etc. if you know basic codings- which back in the mid-90's is greatly easy).
