Here in brazil, all the captionning avalaible in portuguese are wrinten live ( a lot of programs, like movies, series or cartoons they don't translate the US CCs and the program is shown with the english closed captions) because that, there are a lot of skippings and wrong lines... The biggest example is the captioning of the most watched tv journal of brazil, it are horrible! you miss 1, 2 ,3 lines in a live captioning is normal but miss 10, 20, 30 lines is be too stupid...

Today I called the customer service of Universal here and complained about the lack of subtitiling for the balto 3 dvd. I expect to have an positive reply soon.

Not to bother you, but I doubt they will answer positively...it's the same everywhere in the world, except for the US.

In truth, I know that for Balto 3, is very hard they do anything (impossible its is not), but if we don't complain, they will release its next dvds releases without any subtiling.

Quality is a thing that we need to ask, if we don't, the producers will start make its product with less and less quality, want an example? why in the beggining of the dvds, (here was in 2000, 2001, 2002) we NEVER find a cartoon dvd with "color banding" problems and now the dvds are full of it? is the producers decreasing the quality of the disc just because only a few (and very irritating, anoying) people like me, perceive the problem and asks for quality.

I still have hope that my opinion that i registered today will serve for something for universal, and if it not, i will not have that ill feeling because i don't complained about the subtitling, i ve done my part.

Going back to the original topic, does anyone think they could find a transcript of WoC somewhere (or write it themselves at least)? I was just wondering!

Well I started the script and I am halfway through...I guess I could post it or e-mail it or something. Just please give me credit! Its not easy pausing ur DVD player every 5 seconds to write down the words! lol! Let me know!
