But they were interested in each other before Rosy got sick Cat, remember when Balto ran into her (as if we could forget that scene), when Rosy called her Jenna turned away and when she turned back to Balto he was gone and she looked into the alley for him but Rosy called her again. Another example was when Balto ran the race, she cheered for him and was happy when he won and stood up for him when Steele was having a go at him. The boiler room was another example, she would've nuzzled Balto had the light not gone out and she tried to go with him when Rosy's father chased him off because Steele threw the sausages at him, OK Rosy was sick then, but she was still interested.

She may have been a little interested, but that doesn't mean that they would have become mates. You need to look at her other expressions around Balto besides the ones where she looks interested in him. Like when he first ran into her (the situation you're mentioning), she gave him a look like "Why the heck did you do that?" Then reading his expressions, she probably figured that he meant no harm.



She didn't deny it because she herself knew that nothing "went on" (if you catch my drift) in the boiler room, while others thought there was. Even so, this happened after Rosie became ill.

Uhh its really not a good thing if Rosie gets dipheria, How would u like it if you were in that situation, yes its a good thing Balto did get Jenna but just because she got sick does not mean its a good thing......Im sure honestly Balto could have found another way to get to Jenna's heart but that is how the story is and I believe Balto did it for the best

Mates and Rosie:
Um, It is not one bit a good thing that Rosie was sick. Sure, it's all cool and good that Balto and Jenna are now mates.. but without Balto 2, 3, then I wouldn't say that their "mates". Sure, We all know that Balto had a crush on Jenna, if that's what you wanna call it.. and that Jenna seem to liked Balto. Yes. But at the end of the movie, Jenna did nuzzle him. Why? Maybe being a nice friend, and as a thank you perhaps? Sure, She nuzzled him when he was off to find the team.. but again, maybe because she thought she would never see em again? Because she liked him, or just being a friend and a thanks for trying to find the team to get Rosie and all the other kids better. Well, after jumping around and barking happily.. they both lifted up their head at the same time, and they was close and their noses touched.. Then, Jenna nuzzled em. However, that 'kiss' or 'nose touch'.. Not like they ment that to happen, I am sure. But, Jenna was not mad about it. And of couse, not even Balto. I am sure they would of been "mates" anyways, but not in the first movie.. And, if they never made Balto 2,3 then we would never really know for sure if Balto and Jenna was to be fully "mates". I am sure she was kinda like a mate to him, or well kinda like a girlfriend. But, without Balto 2 and 3.. then we would never be fully sure if they was going to fully be "mates/girlfriend and boyfriend."

Before Rosie was sick/Before Jenna knew that Balto was going to go save the town

You can tell that Balto,of couse, liked Jenna. He would accept her offer if she asked to be mates with him anytime. But Jenna? I am sure you can tell that she kinda liked him. At first, she just seen him as a 'friend.' Just like she sees her other friends, including her girlfriends(Girlfriends.. Not like that.. you know. Just girls who happens to be /her/ friend.)
Well, Yeah.. that was the way I am sure she seen him at first. I don't think she thought that he was sooo cute, soo nice, or anything like that. Just a pretty nice, pretty good looking but most likely seen better looking, wolfdog. Now, she I am sure only seen some of his niceness. Not his whole nice side. I am sure she thought he was kinda cute, pretty good looking but I am also sure she seen better looking males. Now, after being in the The Boiler Room when Rosie was sick was when she kinda fell in love with him. You know, kinda having like a very very small crush on him. Sure, Rosie was sick but she didn't know that he was going off to go save her and the other kids. She seen more of his nice side, still not seeing all of it. She sees him as a small crush who is nice. If the light didn't go out, then I am sure their noses would touch for sure. Anyways, after finding out that Balto went off to try and find the team.. Her feelings for him grew more. She seen more and more of his nicer side, and how great he really was. She nuzzled him, gave him her scarf, and hoped that he would make it safe. Not only because she wants him to come back with the med. for Rosie, but because she had feelings for him and cared about him. After coming back, then her feelings grew alot and she seen his nice side, how great he is, and such. They, however, still wasn't fully mates.

Now, even if Rosie never got sick, then I am sure they might of been mates.. but maybe. It would of taken longer.. But before she knew Balto was going to find the team, then you could easily tell that she had a few feelings for him and seen him as a small crush. Yes, Rosie was sick but she didn't know that Balto was going to save her. ... Even before Rosie was sick, then you could kinda tell that she -kinda- liked him more then a friend, but not too much at all.
