Not exactly...See, we know that people like Devil are people you DON'T want to try to meet, because he was a lier from the very begining...I mean, the way he cussed and threatened all the time, you should've seen right through it. Except for when he lied sometimes....>< The idiot. You have to be cautious when you give out your information. And you have to pay attention to how the people act on the internet.


OH, and just so you all know, the thing where they are trying to arrange that meeting, there is permission slips for your parents to sign, and it is suggested to bring your parents along. Plus, they're having rules and making sure there are good security measures, like Whitewolf said. So before you go critisizing that topic, READ MOST OF IT. NOT just the first few posts...

And dusty, because the only way I know you is the internet, I can't say I trust you...I really don't trust people on the internet...It's just me...Maybe I trust a few people...So, if you're very cautious and responsible and have a responsible adult with you, it's ok to go meet people.

Well I donno. I'm kind of shy in real world but not in internet that is kind of weird... :s I'm kind of shy to TALK with ppl over internet with mic conversations. I do know some guys I trust over internet. One with nick Black Widow (French dude he is fun to annoy xD) and some others.
Thought I'm agreeing with KK that meeting some type of ppl over internet is dangerous. The way they act yes but that doesn't mean they really are that sort. Some are definetly but some arent...weird..

I think it's wrong. Me and Mariawolf go to the same school. We're BFF.[Best friends forever]. I go to her house and she comes to mine. we're allowed to talk on PM. Is it Ok? Becouse I know her more then any body on this site.

The only person I ever met was a girl called Nancy, I had seen her on webcam and had also known her friend outside of school before, so I knew she was fine, and I am really glad we met each other oustide the internet but the sad reality unless your one hundred percent sure, you cannot go, I have wanted to with my other friends but it is sadly too risky.

I agree with you 100% I mean it's fine to be friends online and talk about movies food and stuff but sorry suga' that should be as far as it gets, It's perfectly fine to talk to people online as long as you watch what your saying and never, I repeat NEVER give things such as your real name out, a nickname is nice enough. now I think that you can add pics ofyourself in the internet as dar as they aren't too "revealing" (Sp?) because what's the use of having a picture if you don't even know in what part of the world they live at? there's a limit as to were a internet friendship should go, if they try to cross the line forget about them and don't talk to them after all if all they have is a photo of you they can't hurt you.

I have to agree, the internet is a very dangerous place, and setting up a meeting is an amazinly dangerous thing to do. The world we live in is very screwed up, and trust can be very easily betrayed.

On the other hand, I do think it's possible to set up a meeting, but it has to be done very carefuly. If I was to set up a meeting, first, I'd so it when I'm over 18 and only with someone who claims to be over 18. I'd do it in a public place with many people around, preferably a place with security cameras and armed gaurds. Secondly, I'd have a friend (preferably one who can beat up another person) come with me. Another thing, I'd probably carry a concealed weapon on me, just in case. That or get a friend to come with me that has a permit to carry a concealed firearm, or even better, both. But it is still very dangerous, and amazingly risky, and I am not recomending anyone here attemps to set up a meeting of any sort with someone they know over the internet.

The internet is not a place for children.
