It's not out at all, there is even more 3D in the third. It's just that it's much better blend with the 2D elements.

I didn't see as much 3D in third as I did in the second...Is that such a bad thing?

I would have to agree for the most part with the exception of the plane crash that seemed a little outta place, like a bit over done.

Yes, it's definetely there. I didn't think it blended all that well though, steet. Especially at the start with the 'stunning blue' waves..

I think the whole of the original was better. The characters, colors, backgrounds (More detail, and just nicer-looking), and animation was better. They did well on all the films animation wise, but you can see some places were it's a bit rough.

The backgrounds and colours themselves had original character. In the sequels it just seemed thrown together with no heart.

yes, that's a better way to put it, than what I said. At least they did a good enough job, I mean, if any of us tried it (Us amateurs ) We'd fail dismally, and say "Oh, well there IS a lot of work put into Backgrounds!" and we'de appreciate them more, I'm sure. So, yes there is detail, they were just kind of thrown together.

^ I agree.
If they'd have put more time and effort - and heart - into the movies they could have been as good as the first. I mean, look what Drew and co have produced so far on their Balto 4 trailer..
