I was wondering whether to get a DS or not and decided against it, I don't like the touch screen, DS does have a load of great games for it, Nintendogs being the one I wish I had most, but I really don't like the touch screen, I've already got a PSP, Gameboy Advance, PS2 and PC of course but I just can't bring myself to get a DS, am I really missing out on as much as people say?

Easily...almost any DS game is better than PSP games. DS makes it fun to play.

the DS looks like a good little system, but im not much of a hand-held person.

It depends on you. The DS is one of my favorites, along with my GameCube(I have a GBA, but not a lot of games for it). I like the DS, and on some games, you don't need the stylis. You can use it like a GBA and just use the buttons. But Nintendogs, you have to use the touch screen. So, it sort of depends on you, what type of games do you like?
I like all games apart from war games (i.e. Medal of honor).
