I love Balto because I can relate to him. I'm an outcast trying to fit in, I'm a "Half breed" as I guess you could call it, ect. (African American and White)

balto shown me that no matter what you are, you can be a hero.

Balto for me is very important. Without Balto hundreds of sick kids would have died and many of the kids today wouldn't have been born... Balto's movies are imprtant to me cuz they keep the spirit of Balto alive. I have a whole paragraph of what Balto means to me and why I think it's important to me in the conversation of what if Balto died?. It just moves me to hear the life of Balto.

Although it's quite an obvious one I'd go with Never Give Up. Probably because this movie strengthens that notion more so with Balto's journey and rely on your friends. Although Balto's only true friend was Boris at the end of the movie you could see that the other's (except Steele) would now accept him for who he was despite the differences. And lastly to roll with the punches and the **** that people and life throw at you, I get this from the movie in my own way

I can relate to Balto, because I, too, am different from most individuals, and I have only a small ammount of friends. The movie is also very inspiring in a number of other ways.

He is a true hero and we'll NEVER forget HIM.

Alright..this actually is hard to type...dunno why but its kinda odd how I got into Balto again... a couple of friends were telling me how much that I reminded them of him because of how big my heart was.. I'm like nah so they gave me this quiz to take to see what character I was...well well well guess I should've believed them because guess who I was? yup... Since I've watched the film again after many years, its affected me alot more...I knew that everytime I saw or thought about Balto when I was young it gave me a weird feelng..idk its hard to explain...but it was close to the heart and soul...I defintely see myself in him and him in me. And I have read many posts that there are many like me out there...it is true... I have low self esteem STILL even though it may not seem it... I don't really have many close friends because most ended up backstabbing the hell out of me..but.. I can relate to Balto pretty deep.. that movie just touches my soul everytime I watch it..it's hard not to let it get to me because it does

Balto speaks to me a whole lot because I'm an outcast as well. Most people make fun of me because I'm weird, nerdy and socially awkward (I have Asperger's Syndrome), which is like a half-breed of Autism. I have only several friends and I have a kid that teases me because of the way I look. One time in my life, I had a problem accepting myself for who I was. But when I was listening to Michael Jackson's songs, I started to feel a lot better about myself. He was like the white wolf to me. The movie also told me that a hero's journey is not just external, but internal as well, and the qualities of a true hero is bravery, determination, perserverance and compassion. I am proud to be autistic!
