Because frankly its starting to get a little un-nerving.

The issue I see, to me, is that you post a topic instead of telling the mods to do something.
But I don't think mods can ban people, which may also not be a bad thing in fact. I think giving warnings is enough most of the time, then the mods can report it to me if there's really a problem with someone.

But there would be one problem with it thou. Only certain people should be able to give out warnings because if anyone could give out warnings people would get warnings just for stating there opinions so I think Mods should be able 2 give warnings.
Quite right. Of course, two people would have to take it up with a mod, and the mod would have to play Peer Mediator for a while. But seeing as they are mods, they should obviously be able to put their problem solving skills to the test. You always have o know both sides of the story -- otherwise, warnings...erm...i mean...reminders, would be flying around everywhere.

Has anyone thought about PMs, if some one says something out-of-line or disrespect full a mod coul send the person a PM, if it continues report it to Steet, that would surely be much easier than having to use a warning-system and also if a mod sends a PM to the person they can have a chance to explain it, as someone said before, what if they were just joking or being sarcastic!

But I do know that some people are always letting their emotions get the better of them. For this, I suggest we ensue some kind of warning system. You know, three strikes you're out? Something like that.
I agree. I think maybe the only way to really stop someone from being rude and to give them a chance would be a warn system, like if someone says something rude, you can report their post and their warning level goes up. When it gets to 100%, they can get a temporary ban.

Dark_Wolf wrote: I agree with you Drew, respect is starting to get destoried here. There are a few of you who are the cause of this( I am not going to point names). I find this an good rule because the forums seems to get out of hand. Here are my reasons respect should be an rule.
Reasons 1. To show others that we are ready to listen to any of their problems 2. We learned this in SCHOOL! So why do you act like 5 year olds 3. If I get disrespectful with my parents I get scolded and I wonder do you get introuble for being disrespectful 4. It shows how immature you really are 5. Makes people feel unsafe and makes them want to leave the baords 6. We have been learning respect since we were all 2 or 3, how come we can't show it. This seriously has been a big issue on the boards. I'm glad that you made this topic Drew.
~Caslyn Toatly agree plus besides school I also get scolded for being disrespectful to persons
