Metallica Pretty much this is pointless but I ain't too much of a fan of heavy metal, though I like it, but I do consider bands like my top favs. Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, and AC/DC as favs. All the bands you just listed go in the metal section^^ but they are awesome^^
Little list 2 lol
Jack Off Jill.
Jacknife.
Type O Negative WOOHOO (love fast black metal go Type!!)
Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Dragonforce (WOOHOO love fast hard old metal style!!! GO DF!!)
Winter Sulstice.
Lacuna Coil (Female metal players rule!!)

Some of my favorites are the following:
Amon Amarth, my personal favorite right now. Cant get too much heavier. Id venture to say if you havent heard Amon Amarth, then you havent heard heavy metal at its best.
Dragonforce, always good wake-up material.
Rammstein, again, hard and heavy.
Kovenant, not exactly heavy, more industrial metal but still very good once you listen to their stuff.
Disturbed, Godsmack, Metallica, Motorgrater, Mudvayne, Ozzy, SOAD complete the list of good heavy metal for me, for now.
