I've seen alot about people faking Nessie. I'm sure when you look it up on google you'll fine some places that tell how someone tried to fool people into thinking they found Nessie or something.

Okay, that's better. My, this topic is pretty popular!! Already two pages!! I'd want to go to Lock Ness someday. I've heard rumors of Nessie actually coming out of the water for some people! How totally amazing is that? Of course, such stories are waved off nowadays.

It really is a shame to see how many people are turning over to the dark side of "Seeing is believing" these days.

The original picture posted was proven a fake. The guy confessed to mearly attaching a bend patined tube with an odd top on it to a small submarine.

Well, if you don't see it, how can you actually believe it? With most things, that is the way I see it. It's not the "dark side". And no, I DON'T believe in Nessie. Sorry. I see everyone here does, and that is fine with me. I just don't believe in it/her/him whatever. If they ever find it/him/her, excuse me for having an opinion opposite from everyone elses. I appoligize for I'm in a pissy mood.

I have a question about Nessie. Is it a boy or a girl?

It's impossible to tell. But because of the name we infer it's Female. It's wired like that. And Avianne no one's going to get mad at you because you have a different opinion. Remember nothing here is concrete.

You can believe and not see at the same time -- what do you think faith is all about?

I am not saying there is no nessie that picture is just a proven fake.

This topis isn't about proving to other peoople whose right and whose wrong!! But It really is hard to find a "genuine" picture of this Nessie...or Champ for that matter.

I love Nessie! She's my fave monster sorta thing ! It's a shame no one's actually seen her in what, 20 years or something?

Well, yeah, Suka, that's why I said with MOST things that is the way I see it. I never said anything about faith or religion. I meant things like Nessie. But I know, I didn't make myself clear enough on that. Sorryz.

If it was a bit bigger, it might be easier to tell. It looks pretty convincing to me, but meh, I'm not sure. It looks like he may be about to dive into the water. These days, whenever we hear about a "sea monster" or a "UFO", our eyes tend to play tricks on us.

Actually, I think it would be much harder to faux a sea monster than a UFO...

If it were bigger like Kari said, it would be easier to tell. But from this angle...it looks like a curved pipe...
