I put the top price for the PS3 based on my knowledge of the 360 core system, which was a piece of cr*p. Besides the game companies like Sony and Microsoft only do that to say "hay look we have a cheep version too!" but it isn't really a cheep version. It's a stripped version. When you buy a car for 3,000 they don't offer it for 2,000 with no engine do they? I think not. So to put it in terms of my friend who is a game rater, they have the normal version PS3...and the watered down version. Also you're leaving out all the other stuff they dull down in the cheeper version. And one more thing...all youz who are holding out for the price drop, you'll be waiting a while. A year or two give or take.

i just read a magazine article about the Wii. Im not saying i believe this or im going along with it, but the article says that this could very well be the last system we'll see from nintendo. Once again, im not saying that i belive this, because i dont. but i read it and it made me wonder.

I would worry bout Nintendo dropping out of the console wars, they've been in it from the beginning. This might be my Nintendo fanboyness talking but I don't think Nintendo is intimidated by the Sony and Microsoft corporations trying to muscle them out of a market that Nintendo practically started. Besides Sony and Microsoft already make enough money as it is, they don't need to be trying to take over the gaming market, nor do they need to be trying to put Nintendo out of business...

yea really, nintendo has been there from the begining, and they've come out with some killer systems over the years. i still play my N64 alot. Im not too worried about nintendo droppin out, c'mon, its Nintendo! they aint goin anywhere!

If anyone has listenined to one thing nintendo has said, they are not in the console wars. They are going a different path and trying to rlease the most innovative stuff posible. Of course that dosnt stop microsoft for siding with them.

I still have heavy HEAVY doubts that PS3 will sell, Not saying people wont buy it....but i think its gonna be the PSP all over again. (By that i mean not sell very well.)

Ok I think your sort of wrong on the PS3 thing, I'll put it like this Mercedes Has their nice little sports car, they now offer one that's around $4000 less because they lowered the Hourse power and put more readaly available materials in it. Same thing with the PS3 it's not really bad like the 360 where you just didnt get the stuff you needed.

But see that's just my point, with the watered down versions of the 360 AND the PS3 you DON'T get the stuff you need.



...ya get cheep cr*p for cr*p. Or cheep by PS3 standards. I still think that's a boat load o-money. Waaaay too much for a console to cost.

The Wii Is going to toast the PS3

Only thing Wii has over the PS3 is price. Either then that, I doubt Wii will do all that good. Nintendo lost a lot of fans with the GameCube. As for them doing a Sega, I doubt it. Even if Wii bombs, they still have handhelds.

As for the price, 250 is a bit much for me even if I had a job. Most I'll pay for a system is 150.

one cool thing ive heard about the Wii is that is has motion sensitive controllers or something like that

yeah and ya know what sony did when fans blamed the boomerang idea for the controller? they copied the motion sensitive idea and stuck it in their old controller with a shiney jewel in the middle. low rent if you as me...even for sony.
