I did always get a kick out of how the one unnamed female pup (Cat's "Kiona") reacted when Aleu howled. Shame they never officially named her or "Dakota". They should have. The dogs deserved it. Of course, they never named the wheel dogs on Kirby's team, or the other dogs on Steele's/Balto's team (beyond Nikki, Star and Kaltag).

Of course, while I am particularly fond of Kodi, I guess the choices are kind of limited. Neither Dingo, nor Saba, nor even the other two unnamed pups got a chance to shine. And I didn't much care for Aleu's personality.

Pretty much all we learn about her from when she says her single line.

We can make our own characters out of the mystery puppies that never did get a chance to shine. I made Dingo insane in my fic. My version of Saba was a bit of a dreamer, and tries to find happiness in everything. I'm still thinking of characters for the two nameless pups, but I hope they turn out to be great characters.

LOL - see, I always thought that sock line was Dingo's. I know Saba has the lines where she's asking Balto whether or not he's going to get a human. But if you look at the scene with the "sock" line, the one who's saying it appears to have Dingo's dark-colored coat.

Well, that's my thought on it anyway. I guess I'd have to see an original shooting script to be certain.

Who knows? Maybe I could Google it....Google is becoming my closest friend lately. My friends and I always thought the sock line was Saba's. If it is Dingo's....I might have to rewrite some of my fanfics. Maybe Saba will be the one to go insane in reak havic in the city of Nome....Eep! Spoilers! XD

To be serious for a sec, I think that it's normal for characters to be credited at the end of a cartoon (or live-action movie) only if they have been given lines...in most cases, anyway. Still, I don't know for certain, and it would be interesting to find out for sure!
