Wow, I gotta hand it to ya, Deni...you're definitely gonna get so much better at this than I could possibly hope. lol.
I like how you didn't use they typical blue-and-silver color scheme to portray something as simple as a puddle on the ground surrounded by snow. It was very smart of you to blur the edges of the water -- that's something I could learn myself. XD Your footprints are very neat and shaded well...^^/
Now, you might wanna try adding a few more effects to make your water seem a little more realistic. Try making it more than just a solid color of yellow. Add ripples, or a leaf floating on top. It just looks a little plain, is all. Liek Aniu is looking into a mirror rather than a puddle...
