Gah, this is a tough choice. I agree with some of the things that were previously stated, but it seemed to me that there was no "worst" character. Each character IMO had a characteristic that was quite . . . pointless.
Here's my list:
Balto: His eyes weren't yellow like in the original (of course, it was to give Aleu the upper edge here, since she supposedly "looks more wolf than Balto" . . . lies.); he was so darn overprotective of Aleu (Goodness, man! Get a grip!)
Aleu: The whole "correcting bad grammar" thing (Jenna . . . did she get that trait from you and your purebred genes? Because I'm sure that she didn't get it from the wolf!)
Jenna: Wasn't the same "fighting spirit" from the original (Darn her new motherly personality!)
Boris: Pointless . . . (But I should give him credit for knowing what Balto could do about his dreams and all . . . and what do you know - he was right! Holy cow. But, I will mention this: He made an awesome chew toy.  )
Muk and Luk: More annoying than Aleu (really. they were. I thought they were a couple of the weakest characters in the film . . . oh where, oh where did your cuteness from the first film go?)
Muru: His part was too short (No, really . . . I dig the mouse. And his crystals. Shiny, sparkly crystals.  ) and he howled . . . (that was oddly weird . . . but at least it makes sense why he did it - he is probably Aniu in disguise!)
Niju: Uh, can you say "the wimpest, power-hungriest, Steele-in-wolf-form-iest, villain ever?" (I rest my case.)
Nava: This is weird . . . nothing. Except the whole "merge-with-the-tree" thing . . . (What the heck was that?)
Sumac, Nuk, and Yak: *sigh* New trio . . . will never replace Nikki, Kaltag, and Star! (OMG, they were the weakest sidekicks ever. And they were so not funny.)
And possibly the most-disliked new character from WQ:
The Terrier: Umm, no one likes you. (he was WAY too annoying, with all of the yapping and stuff. It just took away the happiness of learning that Jenna had her litter. Gee, thanks.  How the heck did he know first?)
That's my two cents on it.

Well, I don't see anything wrong with her either . . . . OMG, she is perfect! (well, of course she is - she's a spiritual being! Aren't spiritual beings supposed to be perfect?  )
