I think some people at Disney are confused. Balto is not a Disney film (look at the opening credits when the first thing that they show is the Universal Studios logo), but it seems to be the only networks (Disney Channel and Toon Disney) that ever show Balto and Wolf Quest. I haven't seen Wings of Change on TV ever since it premiered on Cartoon Network last year, so who knows: perhaps they will get the rights to show WoC also? (Maybe if they show WoC on TV, it could get people interested in buying the films again? It's worth a shot, right?)

Balto 1 & 2 are also aired on Cartoon Network. More than this, Balto 2 AND 3 were both aired on Cartoon Network one or two days BEFORE they got released on DVD!

Even with the mistake, I think this is still a good thing. Balto is getting some more attention with the young generation (around the age of 6 to probably the teenage years) that were probably too young or not around to see Balto when it first premiered in 1995. Good publicity, whether it's false advertising or not, is always useful.

Or even people of the first generation, that never heard about it. I was among them, and I only heard about Balto two years ago, although I've always been kinda interested into animation...

Well, yeah I knew that. *watched WoC when it debuted on CN* I think all that was was a ploy to get people who enjoyed the films to buy them when they were released on DVD. It got me, I'll tell you that.

Hmm, that is true. It actually rekindled my love for the film, really. I soon realized how wonderful of a film series they were. (I was drawing pictures of characters when I was younger (when it first came out), and I grew a slight interest ever since) Just in the recent years (around the time WQ came out, I got back into the fandom and never left.

So I understand that. Good point.

It was about the best Disney MOvies, and it talked about each of them and their first was ALice in WOnderland, the BALTO, then Mualn II.

Did they really say that Balto is a Disney film?? That would be an horribly big mistake.
Not to say that it's a bad thing, after all it needs all the popularity it can get.
They play it on there.
