Do you think that it would be nice if all the Balto movies were done in the original animation style, with the original voices?

This is why I am excited about the Balto 4 project that Drew and Grey are cooking up...It looks to be in the original style...or as close as they can get to it. Which is very very close! :D

I'm just wondering if they are going to do their own animations, and if so how? Are they going to use anims from the first movie or make their own? I am confused!!

...on second thought, I'm always confused.

I think we all agree that the old animation style would be good. I know I LOVED it!!! It's like watching James Bond 007 (the older ones): The film had soft color to it, and I loved to watch them :D

This is exactly my point. And it goes for ALL sequels to animated movies. Here's my thought:

A-why don't they take the time to gather the original team of animators, actors etc.

and

B-if they think that the movie will be a success, like Balto was, then why don't the just make the sequel at the same time as the first and then release it at a later date?

A- They don't change the animation style on purpose, it was only the effect of a low budget. Besides, the original team didn't exists anymore when they decided to make a sequel.

B- Balto wasn't a box office success at all (unfortunately)

I agree. It would have been even better if they had used the original voices.

If they had stuck with just the original, profits would have probably gone up. A lot less people bought the second and third movies. As we all know, they were poor-quality.

I think most of us agree that "yes it would have been nice for the sequels to have been done in the original styles with the original voice actors." It would also have been nice if Amblimation hadn't of broken up and sold the rights to Universal Studios. Is it only me or has Universal Studios always treated the Balto series as a low priority (remember they even somehow made a deal where Cartoon Network was allowed to air the sequels on telivision before they were released in the United States, I have never understood that from a business perspective. I would think that would just hurt video sales).

I also though that was strange, But maybe Universal thought It would be the ultimate commercial.

:D Funny thing is I don't think they do enough thinking over there to begin with. Had they put some real thought into it, Balto would have been another TLK as myself and many others have already said.
