Where are all the Agatha Christie fans? O_o lol

Anyway, I like Agatha Christie, C.S. Lewis, some others...I don't have much time to read anymore

I love Agatha Christie books! I can't begin to count all of the books I've read by her! She is the best mystery author ever! The most recent one I read was They Came to Bagdhad. Have you read that one? It's full of twists and changes of allegiance . . . it's really good! closedgrin.gif

I've read most of the Narnia books (working on the 6th), and I think C.S. Lewis is a great storyteller, but I'm not a big fan of his writing style. I also like the Harry Potter books (J.K. Rowling) and Meg Cabot (the Princess Diaries, etc.) and Tanith Lee. . .
has anyone heard of her besides me? She wrote the 'Claidi Journals' series (Wolf Tower, Wolf Star, Wolf Queen, and Wolf Wing.) they actually don't have anything to do with wolves, but the titles brought my attention to the series, and the story kept me reading! closedgrin.gif

I've read Death on the Nile (the first one I read) and And Then There Were None, but I haven't read (or at least I don't remember reading) Peril at End House. What's that one about?

They Came to Baghdad is tied for my favorite with And Then There Were None. You should read it. It's actually one of the most complex mysteries she's written (in my opinion). If you liked And Then There Were None you'll like it. It doesn't have similar themes, but if you like complexity you'll really enjoy it. Murder on the Orient Express is really good too.

These two are the only ones that I can get out from the top of my head:

Jack London
Gary Paulsen

There are some others but I can't remember them.

OMG how could I forget Gary Paulsen!?!?!?! He is one of my favorites, too! My favorite books by him are Winterdance (about the Iditarod) and The Transall Saga (about a guy named Mark who gets transported to Earth thousands of years into the future). Anyone read that one?
