I'm not trying to be mean here, but you never stated that expressing opinions of why Dusty was taken from the wild was what we were going to talk about. You proposed an idea and we stated our opinons about it, there's nothing wrong with that.

As far as why some one would want to take Dusty from the wild, assuming she is a wolf, well, wolves are strong, smart, able to survive in harsh conditions. If a wolf could be trained then it would make the perfect sled dog, umm wolf.

I'm not trying to be mean either,I just want everyone to remain on topic.

I think she has a strong character, but not that of a wolf. She seems much to "social" to be a wolf. (Wolves are very social but I mean in a Dog sense) Plus the fact that the first thing that comes to mind when I look at her is Dog not Wolf. I mean look at the way Balto and Aleu are drawn and compare that with Dusty.

I didn't think she passed on as a wolf. A strong character can be for any character, its not a wolf thing to me. Also, she doesn't act very wolf-ish so i doubt it's possible. Even wolves in captivity retain some of their wildness.

Ok,everytime I try to make a topic or thread it always gets closed or locked because no one sees things from my point of view,now if I make a topic,is that what everyone is going to do,or is this one gonna have be locked too?

Well the point of a topic, or forum at that, is so everyone can post "their" point of view. And if no one supports yours, either your poin of view is bad, or illogical, or maybe people just don't see it that way. To lock a topic just because no one is doing it your way, is very selfish indeed.

Selfish?,is that what you really think the topic host of this thread really is?,I am not trying to act that way,and would really like it if this topic remained open,so let's just let others share their opinion about What if someone took Dusty from the wild,and raised her as a sled-dog,ok?

i wouldent really know i think she loks pretty much dog but idk

she looks like Aleu, but she is definately a dog.

I did notice everytime something happened she was the only one that was howling. Like when they won the sled race for or when the spread the message through the town about the race she was on top of the building howling..She seemed very wolfy to me, but that's just my opinionXD

she does, but that doesn't neccesarily mean that she's a wolf. a lot of dogs howl, because all dogs descended from their ancestor, the wolf. here, let's compare the two...





the first thing that sticks out is the eyes. Aleu's eyes are yellow, and Dusty's are white, which suggests that Aleu is more wolf than Dusty, or Dusty isn't a wolf at all. the fur color is the same, which may just be the creators linking the second movie to the third. the ears aren't much of a difference, since wolves and dogs tend to have the same types of ears. but the one thing that may prove my theory, would be the eye color.

Indeed I am^^ Some of the others howled, but she was always howling!! I mean I'm not Krazy am I? Also I know she was supposed to be a sled dog, but she just looked like Aleu to much for me, I don't know, she even kind sounded the same.....in a small way..
