*again, another double post*

Here's another fanfic update:

- I'm still working on Change of Heart (almost completed), Forgive Me (part 2 of it, that is . . .) , and some of the other ones whenever I can.

- Poetry: My first "BIG" poetry piece is going to be four parts long. Part Four and Part One are just about finished! Part One (and the others) will be available on Balto Source when completed! And it will be fully titled *drumroll please* . . . . . The Ballad of Balto! (all in rhyme too . . . it's driving me nuts!)

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Please stay patient with me! I can't really write as fast as others and I don't have much time recently (work, school, my free time and so on . . .), but I will try to have something at least every couple of weeks or so!

UPDATE: 4/25/06

Gah, I really need to stop writing more ideas.

Well, I began a new story (one-shot) that is currently titled "The Husky's Meow". Jenna's the main focus in this one, so I think that you'll like it.

Forgive Me is going well! Part Five will hopefully be ready for beta reading by the beginning of May!

The Legacy Saga will be continued in the summer (most likely early/mid-July-ish), after Change of Heart, Destined, Forgive Me, and The Husky's Meow are completed!

The Wolf Quest part of The Ballad of Balto is almost finished! Hopefully the whole poem will be completed in May!

Plus, does anyone remember Untamed Love (my first Balto fic) and Forbidden Bond? I will continue these after the Legacy Saga is completed! (hopefully by the end of this year)

Whew! This is a big plan, but I hope to follow this so that all of my planned and in progress fics are finished by the end of 2006! I hope you continue to follow my updates, and I can't wait for you guys to read my latest stories!

B-gar! More stories?! How do you come up with all this?
Still awaiting Part V of Forgive Me. Hoping...
And now awaiting The Husky's Meow. Yay Jenna!
Though I have to ask... The Husky's Meow?
Is there a good reason for this, or have you finally gone 'Section 8' on us?
...
"We loose more good writer's that way..."

Write on.

How do I come up with these ideas? Well, I think a lot, and the ideas just come to me all of a sudden. I just hope that no one else done some of my ideas yet . . . .

Ah, yes. The Husky's Meow. That's the working title for it (I couldn't think of anything else that sounded good), but it's hard to explain the reason for that title without giving anything (mainly too much plot) away . . . . At least Jenna gets the spotlight for once in one of my fics.

"Section 8"? What's that?

Thanks for the luck!

*double-post*

Well, I am almost finished with The Ballad of Balto! The part dedicated to Wolf Quest is complete, and I am starting the Wings of Change part soon! (Part four is completed already, so when Pt. 3 is finished, the end of the poem will be posted as well)

Thank you very much!

'Section 8' is the military term for crazy. So going Section 8 is going crazy, if I'm correctly informed.
Um... I can't really say off the top of my head if anyone's used your story ideas, but I know of several stories that spotlight Jenna, but mostly her past.
I intend to include Jenna's past somewhere in my next storie(s). Should be fun.

Write on.

Well, I am working on a fic about her first meeting with Rosy . . . but I've never seen that done before anyway. "Husky's Meow" will focus more on her personality and maternal instincts than her past. Yes, there will be some surprises, so . . . . yeah.

Back to work . . . .

Were you already planning Change of Heart when you wrote Lupine Call? Because reading the story again, I picked up a few hints that it was Niju, such as his color being black.

You know something? I never really thought about that until after I finished Lupine Call (I had started Change of Heart when I wrote Lupine Call actually)!

I still think I'm the only one who believes that Aleu and Niju would make an interesting alpha pair. Originally in Lupine Call, Aleu's mate was just a random black male wolf, but when I read it over after finishing it (and comparing it to Change of Heart), I kept it the way it was because it would allow the reader to decide who Aleu's mate was (I never mentioned a name, just the fact that he was a member of their clan and that his fur was black and white).

Thanks for your opinions!

In time, in time . . . . still working on it!

Oh yeah, I really need to tell myself to stop myself from making new ideas! I have a few new ideas for fics, but I won't start them until some of my other fics are completed (I think you know which ones I mean)! I will tell you some hints of what to expect!

- A Boris fic, mainly focused on how he developed his fear of heights (a flashback tale . . . because there's no stories about Boris out here)
- A fic focused on Denali (the all-red pup with the white muzzle) and an unusual relationship with a white creature who has more in common with him than he knows . . .
- A continuation of "Forgive Me's" alternate ending: Klondike learns about his birth mother and how much his parents really loved each other.
- Yukon (the husky that has Aleu's face markings) falls in love, but this love is not exactly . . . . normal (since when are any of my love stories normal? XD), and Balto really doesn't approve of it.

That's all for now! Ciao! *goes back to writing*

Keep it up!
I enjoy reading your work. You are a very talented writer!
Keep up the good work and never EVER give up!

- Rotramel the Writer

P.S. (It might be a while for Balto: Though We Be Apart, as I have hit a HORRID case of writers block... still workin on it though.)

Thanks so much for all of your encouragement! I really appreciate it!

(I understand the writer's block . . . I tend to suffer from it a lot recently (especially with "Forgive Me" . . . I know what I want to write, but it just doesn't come out . . . gah.)

frustrating, huh?

I figured out mine last night... let's just say that those who wanted Drake to get his "just desserts" will be happy with the outcome of this story...

Just keep at it, I broke through it, you will too!
LOL

In the Marine Corps we have a saying... "Pain is weakness leaving the body." (Which is total BS, pain is pain to me) but here's the same thing for writers... "Writers block is simply our minds trying to struggle for an unusual conclusion to a usual problem."

Here's a random quote I just thought of...

"The work of a writer is not coming up with a story, everyone has a story or two inside them. The work of a writer is being able to convey that story in a way that touches the hearts of those who read it using only words to do so."

Have a good day!

That's a nice, picturesque, militaristicly propagandical saying, and I LIKE IT! And I also like yours. Very true, my friend.

Now THAT is what I'm talking about. THAT is you, my friend. You know just how to toy with our emotions right up to the end.... And I applaud you for that.
(Between you and I, I think you're rubbing off on a few of the writers here.) "Great, that's all we need. MORE suspense and agony. Just great!"
