Yeah, well . . . I've gotten in a bit of a writer's block recently, and I've been working on my story of the life of Kopa.

Mine makes things a bit more . . . *coughcontroversialcough* as usual of most of the things that I usually write.

It's short, sweet, simple, and I'll try to get it posted on Steet's TLK site when it's complete.

Oh really? heh. You have no idea how strange it's gonna be. (it's especially hard when Kopa is such a rarely known character and you have to make a personality for him based on 6NA)

Well, I don't have the books (I might buy a set on eBay when I get a Paypal account), but I've been using a set of scans to read the stories and figure out Kopa's character as a cub.

It's quite interesting really. The fun part is deciding what should happen to Kopa when he grows up . . . . I'm still working on that. I've finished the beginning and the end, but the middle part (his cubhood and him as a yearling) is almost finished.

I was very impressed with how good the Lion King Six New Adventure Books were. Being They were suposed to be Children's books.

Yeah, me too. Plus, the research put into it (the names mainly) is amazing. (almost like what I'd do with my fics)

I don't think they think he existed. Why else would they change Kiara's name through production of TLK2? (I saw a storyboard from TLK2 that showed her previous name; no, it was not Kopa)

But it is obvious that the two cubs shown (one at the end of TLK, and then Kiara in the beginning of TLK2) look different, not just because of the different artists and animators.
