(Loka is a she)

Koda nodded to Scarlet and waited for her to get back from talking to one of the alphas. Then when she did come back he led her into the forest.

Loka shook her pelt to get rid the snow that had fallen onto her back then padded off of the yard she had been sleeping on and into the street.

Whisper- Whisper sat down and started to eat the rabbit she had cough.

Rose- Rose herd the dog say that it was all right so she went out from under the stairs.

Command: I was talking to Keehl...... lol

Nigel watched the two wolves slowly walk away, and he started to growl. Normally Nigel was a peaceful, shy wolf, but he didn't like Koda. He especially didn't like it when he was with Scarlet, even near her. But Scarlet didn't seem to mind Koda's attention, which bothered Nigel even more. "Bast*rd..." the black wolf muttered, his English accent rolled off his tongue.


Choker's dingy grey fur was caked with snow. Her golden eyes flickered open. How long was I asleep?, she thought, standing and shaking her pelt.

Koda had not heard Nigel's reply as he padded out of the camp. "What do you want to hunt?" He asked.

As Loka stood in the center of the road she saw Choker. "Hi." Loka barked walking up to the she dog.

Choker stood and glared at the dog, her fur bristled and fangs bared. The dingy grey wolf started to back up, What is that?, she thought. The she wolf lowered her head between her shoulders, It's ugly, the wolf thought.


Nigel padded his way into his den, and sat on his haunches. If only they're were someone else, he thought.

(Sorry I thought Choker was a dog not a wolf)
Loka stopped and tilted her head. "Whats wrong?' She asked the wolf.

Koda waited for Scarlet to answer.

Whisper- Whisper looked around when she has finished her rabbit. "I wonder who is close." she said smelling a wolf.

Rose- Rose saw that the other dogs didn't notice her so she walked away. "I wonder if any one is looking for a friend." she said to her self.

Command: Choker is a lone wolf, and Sledge is in the Street Dwellers pack, she is a husky wolf mix.

History: Cheyanne was the daughter of a nomadic father; she never knew her mother, who was killed during a hunt with their old pack. Their pack was becoming run down and members were dying off from disease and were getting killed by their own brothers. Cheyanne’s father took his and his other daughter away from that danger and desperately tried to find another pack close by for them to join, but he never succeeded. He soon fell ill himself and died from hypothermia, leaving behind his two offspring. It was Cheyanne’s brother’s idea for them to split up, and the eldest of the duo didn't agree since her brother wasn't even old enough to actually take care of himself without eventually getting himself killed. However, the younger wolf ran off and Cheyanne didn't even try to stop him. As time went on and she got older, Cheyanne lived from pack to pack and she eventually settled down with a male (King) whom she had a litter of six puppies with. Soon, all of the helpless pups died from sickness.
Rank: Cheyanne us the Beta female of the pack and a shaman, yet she and Nigel are not mates. Yet. She hopes Nigel will become her mate, besides, they both love each other.

Nigel gave up on Scarlet, for all he knew she liked Koda. Cheyanne.... I'll talk to her, he thought, she'll know what to do!The black wolf padded over to another black wolf. Cheyanne. She was laying under a large willow tree that the pack knew was at least a hundred years old. The female had her eyes closed, Is she sleeping?, Nigel thought. As if the she wolf read his mind she opened her eyes and gazed at the beta. "Hello," said Cheyanne, lifting her head. Nigel didn't hesitate, he walked over the beta and sat next to her. "Hi." he whispered. "Something is bothering you, isn't it?" asked the female beta. Nigel nodded, and slowly lay beside her. "Tell me about it." Cheyanne smiled.


Choker didn't attack the dog, instead she went for the wolf dog, Sledge. Sledge was rolled over on her back, sleeping when Choker went after her. Choker lunged at the wolf dog's throat, and choked her before grabbing her leg and dragging her across the street. Choker made a break for it and hauled her butt out of the city.


Cheyhaivo called Rose and Willow over to help Sledge. "Rose, hurry up. Sledge is in trouble." the red husky shouted, darting into the street. It was to late. The red and cream wolf dog was profusely bleeding from her neck and her leg was nearly tore off from a previous wound, and now Choker had yanked on it, and pulled her across the street.

Louis fell asleep waiting for Koda and Scarlet to get back from hunting. She layed her head next to Keehl's, and closed her eyes. No sooner had she fallen asleep the wind started to pick up and snow descended from the sky.

"Anything would work. Let's try the river first, Koda." Scarlet said, running towards the east.

Loka dashed after the wolf.Her attitude had changed when the wolf had attacked the husky wolf. "You won't get away with that you mangy flea pelt." She snarled as she ran.

Koda nodded as he dashed after Scarlet. A deer ran across their path, trying to get away from the two predators.

The light snow soon became a heavy blizzard, and the tracks Choker had left were soon covered. The wolf ran to the outskirts of the city before she stopped to rest, the young wolf panted and shook herself. "Stupid dog." she whispered, then the she wolf took off running again. She'd figure running to West Wood Lake territory was a good choice for the time being, No dog would ever go there, she thought.


"Well, I don't necessarily like Koda. If fact, I hate him. And now, I think Scarlet likes him more as a mate than a friend." Nigel huffed, looking Cheyanne in the eyes. "And you, like Scarlet, per say?" the female asked. "As a friend.. But she's the only one I talk to, I mean when you're nor around. I don't talk to anyone else." said Nigel, sitting up to scratch the back of his ear. Cheyanne eyed him up and down before sitting up herself. "But, do you like her?" Nigel thought for a moment. "No. As friend, yes, but not, but I don't like like her." the beta male reassured her. "Do you lov-." "LIKE...." Nigel corrected. "Sorry.. Do you like anyone in the pack.. You know, like like?" Nigel shrugged. He didn't have the guts to say it was her.

The red husky let out a sigh, then let out a mournful howl. Willow and the rest of the pack joined in. Cheyhaivo then howled for Loka, chasing the wolf wouldn't do any good.

Scarlet winked at Koda, then darted after the skittish deer.

Todd looked down at Sledge's lifeless body, laying in the middle of the street.

"We can't just leave her here..." he spoke up.

Keehl sat up momentarily to scratch his ear, then peered out the entrence of the den. It would be dark soon.

"Nigel and Scarlet better be back from hunting on time. It's nearing dusk." he said to himself. Then he layed back down and curled around his mate Louis to keep the two of them warm in the cold evening air.

Lol, Koda went with Scarlet, not Nigel. Nigel stayed.

Cheyhaivo broke his howl to look at the dog, "What are we suppose to do? Fly with her?" Willow rolled her eyes at her mate. "He means we could at least move from out of the middle of road, where she won't get ran over." Cheyhaivo gazed at her, "She's already dead.. Why would moving her help?" Willow sighed, "Its a little thing called 'respect'." the female husky commented.

Nigel gazed into Cheyanne's eyes, even when she wasn't looking. "You have such beautiful eyes.............." he whispered. "What?" Cheyanne turned and looked at the beta male, confused. "Huh?" "You said I have what?" "OH! Uhh, nothing. I was talking to myself." Nigel tried to convince her. "Okay.." Cheyanne didn't bother him anymore about it. Nigel felt nothing but embarrassment for the rest of the night.

Scarlet and Koda came back to the territory just as the sun went down. The only light available was the constant flickering of fireflies around every tree and a few around the den. The only sound the two wolves could hear were the chattering of wolves and every now and then a cricket would chirp. It was nice. Cold, but nice. Scarlet helped Koda drag the deer carcass towards the center of the territory. She dropped the leg and growled when she Nigel woth Cheyanne. She like Nigel, but didn't know he liked Cheyanne. And even if she did, she wouldn't care. She wanted him. Scarlet was a little of the selfish type when it came to a crush. She and Cheyanne were very different.

I meant to say Koda, my bad. (:

Todd carefully took Sledge's scruff into his mouth and began to gently drag her out of the middle of the road. Once he got her out of the road, he dug a small ditch into the snow on the side of the road, then drug her body into it. He didn't bother burying her completely, the heavy snowfall would do the job eventually.

Once he caught the scent of a deer carcass, Keehl nosed and licked Louis' muzzle to wake her.

"Louis dear," he said. "They've brought back food."

Koda dropped the deer and moved to the side to let the other wolves eat. he felt Scarlet's pelt prickling and when he looked up he saw that she was looking at Nigel and Cheyanne. Koda shook his head and looked away.

Loka padded back to the group of dogs. H ears and tail down.

LOL I just noticed that three of my character's names start with 'C'.. I will also be creating a new husky character. Talute.

Before too long, the deer carcass was a pile of bones. Not many of the wolves thanked Koda and Scarlet for them small meal, mostly because it was very small portion and some of them didn't get but a nibble, or nothing at all of it.


"Nigel! A word if you please." Scarlet tried her best not to growl at the beta. "Sure..." Nigel fixated on the female as she walked hunched over. Nigel followed her into the den, which was dark and quite cold. "So, you want-." "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH THAT UGLY BITCH?!" Scarlet shouted, shoving her nose into his face. "What?" Nigel frowned, his lips slowly curled. "I saw you with her, you you..... YOU WERE FLIRTING WITH HER!" Scarlet snarled. " Who? Cheyanne?" said Nigel, starring in the yellow eyes of Scarlet. "YES! WHY WERE YOU FLIRTING WITH HER? I THOUGHT TO LIKED ME!" Nigel growled and swatted his paw at Scarlet's neck. "I like you as A FRIEND. THAT'S IT. There was NEVER going to be anything between us!" Nigel growled, fixated on the white wolf now laying on her side, looking as if she would cry. "I'm sorry..." Scarlet started, whimpering. "It's too late for sorry. You started this, so I'm going to finish it. I like her, not you. And if you have a problem with it you're just going to have to deal with it." Nigel turned and angrily left the territory.

Choker snorted, and laughed at the dead bird she had caught. "Birds are so stupid." she laughed. The dingy colored wolf took hold of one of the birds' wings and pulled out of mouthful of feathers. Spitting them out she went for it's stomach and pulled out another mouthful of feathers.

Cheyhaivo, Willow, and the rest of the pack stayed close that night, trying desperately to keep warm in the blizzard before them. The cold wind and brewing snow had not yet reached the wolf pack's territory. The red husky curled and shoved his snout into his tail.

Cheyanne decided that the deer wasn't enough. So the female beta took off and went back to the willow tree. She had dug a hole and placed a hare there. She dug through the snow in search of the hare, sniffing thoroughly. At last, she thought. Her stomach rumbled, and she dove into the meal.

Louis and Keehl were the first to eat. Most of the deer was gone after they finished, leaving most of the subordinate wolves hungry and hardly satisfied.

Backstory:

Jack was born to two Siberian huskies, his father had bred with a wolf the year before, resulting in Jack's half brother; Balto. After Jack was born, his father took him to a small town called Nome. The town's people knew the male had a wolf for a mate, so most of them concluded the offspring he was carrying was part wolf. Although, he wasn't. Jack was pure husky, despite his father's past mate who he knew nothing about. Jack's father left the town, leaving Jack himself alone in outskirts of the town. At the age of two, Jack left Nome and went out into wilderness, leaving his brother and Nome behind. He lived in the wilderness for quite some time, looking for a mate. He didn't have any luck. Jack did however find an abandoned wolf pup. She was pitch black, and he had seen what was apparently her brother just leave her. Jack introduced himself to the scared pup. Her name was Cheyanne. Jack took care of Cheyanne, taking her to Nome after she grew a little older. Jack felt like a father to her. Cheyanne left Nome, and joined a wolf pack. Even though Cheyanne doesn't remember Jack, Jack remembers her and hopes to see her again one of these days.
