Dumb? I didn't think the characters where dumb. I liked the characters. Actually, I didn't like them, I LOVED them! They're designs are great, and they have great charactistics. I love the way they did Buster. His character's looks are fnatastic. I also love hwo they did Angel. I don't know if she's related to Peg or not, but sometimes I think so, since she looks so much like her.

Angel was pretty cute (well, she had to be! She was Scamp's love interest in the whole movie!) . . . I never noticed the whole thing about Angel looking like Peg (she does in a way . . . maybe Peg "went around" and made Angel throughout the way I guess). Buster did have a nice figure, I will admit that. He reminded me of Steele all of a sudden (probably with his commands and stuff . . .) At least they both liked strong pups, eh? ("I'm not your girl!" . . . . . great line)

I only said that the characters were dumb because of the whole obviousness of the situations that took place. Scamp wants to be like his dad, but Daddykins wants him to act like a housedog. So . . . he gets his wish. Kinda obvious that soon he would change his mind, right? Yeah. But really, most of the Junkyard Gang were really stupid or really didn't notice the resemblance of Scamp to the Tramp in the first place (especially in the one scene when they both made the exact same gestures). Didn't that click in their heads that "OMG. That's the Tramp's son there!" . . .. Nope. That's what I meant.

Weird that this type of sequel is so overdone . . . and overdone pretty badly most of the time! Can't studios finally get it right for once?

Haha. That's what you think. My opinion is totally opposite. I HATE WQ with a passion now. Every time I watch the movie, I get bored out of mind with it. I can't even watch it half way through! It totally sucked(in my oppinion) since it had no relation to the origional WHAT SO EVER! I could've done a Wy better sequal. For heaven's sake, some of the people's fna fics were better than this movie!LOL! :P Well, now you know I totally hate WQ.

And, Juanchan, thanks for telling me.:)

I forgot about this one...I've seen it, and I thought it was OK. Not bad nor good. Maybe that's because I love every movie which is in winter and has snow :D

One thing I know now, is that it is a controversial film. I know of many people who hate it and people who love it. I'm an exception, I'm stuck between the two :lol: Anyway, people who love WQ are in general not really fans of the original, while it is the opposite for WoC. That's why I think the sequel to Balto should have been WoC.

Well, I guess I must be weird because I actually enjoyed Wolf Quest and I'm a big fan of the original as well. I also loved WoC as much as the original, but WQ is still okay to me. It was a different sequel, a change if I may say that. Yeah, it had the same basic storyline that we've seen too many times before, but it took a different path than what was expected IMO. Still, WQ lacked the spark that the original had (that WoC later made up for), but I still think WQ was an enjoyable sequel. Not bad, but not good either. It's in Limbo as we speak . . . . . :D

Of course, this is my opinion.

No, you're not the only, since I have more or less the same opinion. I never said I didn't like WQ at all, nor did I say that I loved it. I always said that I liked it but not as much as WoC (and of course the first, obviously)

I've always been partial to The Lion King II. I thought it was excellent and very well done.

I've only seen the first four Land Before Time films. XD; I kinda gave up after that and I can't figure out why in Heaven's name Universal doesn't stop making them! I liked the original film, but of the three sequels I watched, I only kinda liked The Time of the Great Giving.

I haven't seen Balto III yet, but I've seen the first sequel courtesy of my bud JP. I liked it myself. I thought the Eskimo beliefs and that sort of thing was pretty kewl, actually. I like learning about what other cultures believe and such.

I also watched 101 Dalmatians 2: Patch's London Adventure. It wasn't too bad, in my opinion, though the idea of Jasper and Horace running a boutique is a bit disturbing. XD;

Oh yeah . . . I saw Lady and the Tramp 2 as well. It's alright. The plot was pretty good and I enjoyed the songs. I guess maybe Angel looks a little bit like Peg, but their ears are different. Anyway, I prefered the original here. But it was nice to see the flow of continuity in the sequel.

As for ADGTH, I couldn't stand its sequel when I first saw it. XD; And Red's song is despised by me. Heh. But Sasha was kewl. I also enjoyed the TV show, mainly because Killer was in it again! And the Christmas Carol movie was funny. It's based on the TV show universe, for those who don't know. ^^;

What I'd really like to see is a sequel to Oliver & Company. That's my favorite Disney animated film and one of my fave animated movies period. My other all-time favorite Disney movies are Lady and the Tramp (the original) and The Lion King II.

Best : the Rescuers Down Under and maybe American Tail West. ( I haven't seen west in a while though) probably the reason why I like them is because I saw the 2nd before the 1st. RDU came to video before the Rescuers so that had an influence.. I don't remember when I first saw American Tail, I just remeber seeing West on Video before the Original.

Rescuers DU has beautiful animation and characters, not to mention a kick-ass score. but true Rescuers fans will see that this is more about Cody then Bernard and Bianca oh well, too bad the merchandising people didn't see it that way.. WHERE IS MY MARAHUTE MERCHANDISE!!!! :evil: :? ..

I don't remember too much about A.T:FGW but I loved Tiger in it , as well as miss Kitty and Wylie Burp;)

or maybe I like these sequels because they were before DTV's *shrugs*

also wan't to put Dreamwork's Joseph:king of dreams on the list .. I liked it better than Prince of Egypt 8)

and Toy Story 2 was better than the orginal too.. ( too lazy to say anything about it)

and those other sequels .. well .. they suck... :roll: but that's just my opinion. ;)

I think LT2 was done very well, the animation as well as the story! I LOVE Angel, almost as much as Jenna! She's just a cute little doggie! Anywho, my favorite part about the movie production would probably be the story plot, because of the strong message in it! Overall, I give LT2 two-paws up! :wink: [/b]

For a strange reason, I agree with you!

O&C was a great movie IMO, but unfortunately a sequel would definitely destroy that . . . .

Your choices are pretty interesting . . . . (that 101D2 thing was hilarious, but it was still bad IMO . . . Patch got to be more annoying than Aleu! and that's sad . . .)

I've never seen it. Patch was one of my favs in original Dalmatians, but if he's more annoying than Aleu in the sequal I will definitely not watch it. :?
