The pinched-faced lioness sniffed, picked up Sula and took the cub deeper into Obbler's den.
Kudan nuzzled Lily and whispered into her ear, his green eyes were stone cold and his teeth were gritting. "We must make sure Obbler never gets Jot, Lily," he said. "I will guard Jot's sleeping-den day and night, if need be."
Then he flicked his tail and grimly continued to stare at Obbler and Safi, waiting to hear what they would say next.

Rosie caught up decently fast. She smiled at the others and stopped looking around for Allin. She then carried on racing till she and the others reached the finish line. She smiled and collapsed on the ground. "Ouch...."
