Jesiem, Flinder and Ammet looked up from what they were doing - pinning Quova to the ground and stopping her from getting up.

Jesiem nudged Ammet. 'You're good at berry-finding, Am,' he said affectionately.

Ammet looked shy. 'I know where there's a big bushel of black berries, Juliet,' she said with a small smile.

Quova giggled from where she lay, and cried out; 'And I spotted an absolutely huge mushroom only yesterday, if you're interested, Ju.'

Onix elegantly trotted out,away from Lord Malvon and Lughooey to let them talk.Onix bowed to the three sisters and their brother.He also bowed down to Juliet and Tytain.Onix was the same age as Flinder."Evening,Flinder,Jesien,Quova,Ammet,Juliet,and Tytain."Onix said.

Juliet smiled. "Hello," she said, nodding her sandy-orange head. Then she turned to Ammet. "Let's go get those berries shall we Ammi?"

Tytain again looked Onix down, he half-bowed stiffly and replied. "Hello, and what is your name?"

"I'm Onix.And your Tytain I suppose?"Onix said.Annie same aged sister,Ally came skipping along to Onix."Hello big brother Onix!"Ally said.

(Whoops! Sorry, Arcticwolf56, I should have mentioned before that Flinder is the same age as her other siblings - 3/4 of a year old. My apologies : / )

As Ammet led Juliet away through the bushes, Flinder, Quova and Jesiem went over to stand beside Tytain.
They gave Onix a brief but friendly nod each.

Meanwhile, Geeri, a slightly gaunt doe with an expressionless face had joined Lord Malvon, Fir, Belle and her mate Lughooey. She did not bow, but uttered a short word of greeting in her voice like a bees hum.

'Yes,' said Tytain, his voice was croaking and uneasy. 'I am.'
He then turned to Ally. 'Hello, to you too, Miss...?'

Lord Malvon smiled at Geeri. 'Morning, Geeri.'

He then turned to Lughooey. ' I must move the herd now, Lughooey. Will you please inform the children? And if possible take them to The Silverwood, that is where the herd is going.'

"I'm A-Ally..."Ally said.Onix looked at his sister Annie.He nudged her towards Tytain to greet him the way she should.Annie looked at Onix.Then back at Tytain."I'm Ally,Onix's sister."She said.

Tytain smiled at Ally, a little awkardly, he seemed spaced out. Infact he was worried, which herd did they come from? Bambi's? The Marble Herd? An enemy herd?

Tytain came back to earth when he saw Onix nudge the little fawn-doe he had seen running into a wood.
After she had told him her name, Tytain (who was filled to the brim with worry), suddenly cried out: 'Where do you come from?!'

Then, Tytain realized what he had just said, he stepped back a few paces, his head low with enbarressment.
'Oh, excus me. I didn't know what I was saying...' he stammered, looking first at Onix, then at Ally and Annie.

"We came from the forest.We didn't quiet have a herd before.So we lived in the forest."Annie said.Onix looked at his two sisters Annie and Ally.Onix's sister,Rosy came walking in.

Fir and Belle had been listening intently to the conversation, ears up and eyes brightened with interest. Yet, after a while, Belle turned her gaze away from the adults to look at Fir.
"Fir, just out of interest, where is your dear sister? I haven't seen her in a while."
The young buck uttered a low sigh, turning to glance at her as well. "She's off on her own most days, spending time with Gillo." His expression changed for just a brief moment, turning a little sad. Quietly, he added; "She seems to like him."

Poor Tytain, began to back slowly away. 'I....I am sorry.' He said, in a shaking voice.'I get a little.....worried....sometimes.'

Juliet laughed with joy when she found a whole bush of berries. 'They are masses of berries here!' She giggled to Ammet. 'Gosh, you take after you mother, Ammy! You are so good at searching for food.'
Juliet began skipping with delight and picking the big juicy berries. 'I'll take some to Tytain, Onix and Co!' She said.

Annie,Ally,and Onix laughed faintly."It's alright Tytain,We all forgive you!Your our friend!"Annie said as she jumped around Onix and Ally.Ally looked at Annie and started jumping around Onix with her sister and laughed.

Tytain laughed a little awkardly, but he was sound and happy that they had forgiven his foolishness.
Smiling now, Tytain thanked them quietly.

'Ehem!' Came a noise from behind Tytain. The young buck turned sharply to see a tall shadowy figure standing amist the dark trees.

'Are you all staying here long? Your mothers are getting worried.' Said the figure, it's voice was young but mature.
The figure stepped out from he dark trees and Tytain saw the familiar face.
'Sir Javam!' He cried.
The buck, Sir Javam, raised an eye-brow. 'Mmhmm. Yes. My father, Lord Malvon sent me. I think Lughooey is busy at the moment, so I have to take you to Silverwood.'

Annie,Ally,Onix,and Rosy stood all together.Their father and mother,Danny,and Nyx came to the fawns and young buck.Nyx nuzzled Annie and Ally."Follow Sir Javam,he is taking you somewhere else.I'll be following with father."Nyx said.Annie,Rosy,Ally,and Onix walked towards Sir Javam.

Lughooey had saluted Lord Malvon by sweeping his antlers in an arch. 'Yessir!' he had said, 'Silverwood it is, sir,' before turning to his mate and giving her an affectionate lick on the nose. He then gallivanted off into the bushes, noisy as ever.

'Lue,' said Geeri suddenly.
'Yes, my darling?' came Lughooey's loud voice.
'Don't worry about Flinder, Jesiem and Quova,' replied Geeri. 'I believe I saw Javam with them and some other deer. But Ammet's over by the Tipping Rock Thicket with Juliet.'
'Oh!' called Lughooey. 'I'd better head for Tipping Rock, shall I, and fetch little Am and Miss Ju. Cheerio!'
'Take care, dear,' said Geeri, smiling for the first time.

And Luhooey charged on.

Ammet blinked shyly at Juliet's praise. 'Thank you.' The dark-furred fawn snapped a branch of berries off.
