"You'd never get a restraining order against me Nessie!" He grinned, leaning closer again. "You can't resist me, you'd be so lost if you didn't get to see this face.." He motioned to his face and smiled. "...you'd miss me!" He smiled.

Griffin's smile turned into a scowl and he looked away when Brandon the football captain walked up to the table.

"I don't know about that; I've never had the chance to miss you," Vanessa said with clenched teeth, glaring at him for a second more before noticing someone else come up to the table. With her nerves on edge, she was immediately annoyed by whoever it was until she finally looked at him. She quietly gasped in surprise when she saw Brandon. Although the two hadn't spoken too much over their high school years, she'd always had a bit of a soft spot for him. "Brandon," she said with happy surprise, forgetting to even say 'hi.' "Can I help you?" she asked.

"Sorry to interupt your lunch Vanessa, but we had some extra tickets for the game next week." He smiled a charming white smile. "I was wondering if you'd like to come, as the Quarterback's guest." He smiled, offering her a ticket he got carefully out of his coat.

Griffin snorted quietly.

Vanessa smiled excitedly. "I'd love to," she said in a slightly breathless voice as she carefully reached across the table to receive the ticket. "Thank." She couldn't keep the wide grin from her face. Normally she would scoff at such an offer, but she had a feeling that Brandon was different from the rest of the idiots that attended her school.

Sophie hadn't taken her eyes of off the blonde boy since he had arrived at the table, and her cheeks blushed pink at him being so near even if he only had eyes for Nessa. Distractedly, she reached out a hand to toy with the rim of her drink and ended up knocking the bottle sideways she it spilt across the table mostly ending up Dimitri sitting across from her and spilling on the floor near Brandon, and Sophie prayed known of the red juice landed on his shoes.

Ooc:// I thought it might be interesting to add a little extra drama by having Sophie develop a crush on Brandon the more he hangs around them. Might be a cause of some tension between the two friends and could even be something Sophie and Griffin disagree about after they all find out that Grif's a werewolf and Brandon's a werewolf hunter.

Dimitri yelped loudly and jumped up, his pants soaked by the split drink.

Griffin snicked imaturely at how Dimitri's lap was soaked.

Brandon blinked and smiled charmingly. "Hold on.." The blonde walked off and returned a moment later with a roll of paper towels. "...Here Pal.." He said handing Dimitri some of the towels.

"Thanks.." The boy answered sheepishly trying to dry off.

Brandon then smiled at Sophie, "Here, let me help you guys clean the table." He offered starting to wipe up the juice.

As soon as the drink had split, Vanessa had leapt up, using the pair of napkins she had grabbed to stop the flowing liquid from completely taking over the table. Meanwhile, Sophie had sat in shock for a minute until Brandon had returned with the paper towels. She nodded quickly as she finally stood up from her chair and helped him clean up the mess.

Vanessa did all she could to help with the mess, throwing a glare over her shoulder at Griffin for his lack of helpfulness and for laughing at Dimitri earlier. "Thanks for the help, Brandon," she said enthusiastically to the football player, pointedly ignoring Griffin again. "You did get any on you, did you?" she asked with concern.

He chuckled softly and shook his head, "No, No, I'm fine." He assured her. "I have to go though, my AP english starts soon." He smiled. "I'll see you later Ness, goodbye you guys." He gently waved to her friends before turning and heading off.

"See ya," Nessa said with a small wave as Brandon walked away before turning her gaze to Sophie with a look that was asking for an explanation but wasn't too irritated. After all, the two had been friends for so long that Nessa had grown accustomed to Sophie's klutzy habits.

"Sorry," Sophie muttered, grabbing the remainder of the paper towels and tossing them into a nearby trashcan. "He didn't seem upset though," she offered, not really afraid that Nessa would be angry with her, but wanting to avoid any unpleasantness anyways.

Vanessa shrugged, trying not to show how much Brandon's conversation with her had brightened her day. "I guess he's just a nice guy."

"Oh yes, nice nice nice." Dimitri murrmured, simply irittated that his jeans where soaked to the bone. "Are you gunna go to the game? You don't like football, no need to impress-" he cut off when he realized Griffin's chair was empty and he was no where in sight. "Wh-who-where'd he go? And how did I not notice?!" He asked baffled.

Nessa turned around at Dimitri's verbal observation and saw Griffin's empty chair. "Oh, who cares. At least he's finally gone," she said as she picked her bag up from where it was slung on her chair. "And it would be rude not to go," she said to answer Dimitir's earlier question. "Besides, I don't dislike football, I just-"

Sophie interrupted Nessa with a laugh. "You may not dislike it, but you sure do hate it. You always complain whenever I just ask you if you want to go," she said, though quickly shut up when Nessa gave her the 'shut up' look. "Just saying..." she muttered glancing at the clock, and attempted to change the subject by adding, "And we should probably be getting to class."

Well Ness, if you wanna try to impress a boy who's NOT your type. More power to you." He grinned. As he fell into stride with the girls, still curious about where Griffin had gone.

The hall was nearly empty, Griffin came walking quickly down the hall, his head ducked down. He then accidently bumped into Nessa and jumped as he looked up at them. He had gotten sickly pale since they'd seen him at lunch, and it seemed that he now had faint dark circles under his eyes.

"And who's to say he's not my type?" Nessa asked incredulously. "He's very kind and courteous and-" She was interrupted when she run into Griffin, who looked like he'd been to hell and back. "Griffin?" she asked, resisting the urge to ask if anything was wrong.

"Are you okay?" Sophie asked the question that Nessa was too proud to speak.

His shook his head "Um- I mean yeah- I um. I'm fine. Just gunna go home. I'm... sick.." He said fidgiting a little and looking anxiously around. "I'll, see you guys l-" the rest of his words where inaudible, just an odd mumble as he tried to get around them and head for the exit doors.

"Good, you look it," Vanessa said as Griffin, meaning it in the nicest way possible as he hurried passed them and out the exit. Sophie gave her the 'be nicer' look, to which Nessa just shrugged. "Well he does, and we have to get to class. I'm not going to be late because of Thompson."

Dimitri chuckled. "You are pretty mean to him." As they walked down the hall

Ooc:// do you want to skip to where Vanessa and Griff meet in the woods? Or atleast to the end of the school day, lol unless u have some kind of idea?
