The boiler room would be a pointless meeting place because the characters would just communicate by text message. lol 'jst let u all knw, steele iz lost.' 'OMG!' I just think they are stating that, to Kevin Bacon, it apparently is not an important part of his work history.

In all honesty...he's from Hollywood lol. Most of the actors and actresses have to have a certain type of personality to survive. At best Kevin probably had fun doing his part and voicing over for Balto...but in all honesty what Hollywood actor would think that much of a story like that? Might touch some hearts on the outside but honestly I doubt if Angelina Jolie or Johnny Depp got a part playing an animated character...that they'd look back and actually appreciate the part. Johnny doesn't even watch any of his movies once he's done with them (treats acting like a job) and hasn't seen one of his own movies to date. Not to say that Bacon is the same way....just saying that the likey hood of him seeing playing a canine as significant is a hard sell at best and probably hands down would never happen...

Well said for the most part. However, I think it's not a question of whether or not a Hollywood celebrity would find the background story interesting. It's a touching and historically-relevant story (even if the animated version is highly fictionalized). The real question is whether or not a Hollywood actor like Kevin Bacon would consider a one-up voice over job in an animated movie, aimed--according to Universal Studios' own page on the movie--at "tweens" (the 9-12 age group), important enough to their larger repertoire to consider taking any time out from their current work and personal schedules to placate fans of that animated movie...especially in what is a rather compartmentalized and gradually-declining (and very disparate and often argumentative and drama-laden) fan base. I should think not. And it's clear most fans believe so. Only the few fans who tend to look at things unrealistically or perhaps idealistically seem to think otherwise.

If I won the lottery, I would resurrect the Balto Story as Balto 4 and add in some well known fan fiction characters, Such as Kemo, Balto's half brother. I would also request that Kevin Bacon voices him over and keep his youthfull looks from the first movie

Not an official character...as your post indicated. It would never fly unless Universal Studios approved the character, and that would be unlikely. Besides, not everyone knows fan characters of individual members. I certainly have no idea who this "Kemo" is. In any case, this has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the topic at hand. In any case, this has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the topic at hand. A topic you started...so you should realize what the subject was when you initially posted it. https://www.google.co.uk/#hl=en&safe=of ... 86&bih=868A. You could have simply PMed me a link to an actual fan fiction or character page (which, by the way, I tried to call up on the search engine here on BS, and nothing under "Kemo" came up) rather than linking some Google search results page, which I have zero interest in sorting through; B. Once again, it has nothing whatsoever to do with this topic. You should have started another topic. Which, if it ended up on one of the Balto movie boards, would have been moved, locked or deleted anyway...because this "Kemo" is not an official character. Bastet wrote: I literally asked this same question on the main Balto Source site's Questions section a few years back. For some bazaar reason, it got deleted not long after submitting... Why oh why am I not surprised by that? Nothing to do with you of course, Bastet. But rather the befuddling and often contradictory nature of moderating on this site. Sorry to hear that your question was deleted. Unless it was a repeat of an oft- or already-asked question (in which case, they should have PMed you to tell you that. Honestly, they should have PMed you and told you why the question was deleted anyway...but you know...that contradictory thing. XD)

I also expected some kind of response about it from the mods, but because I was still new at the time, I figured I'd keep my mouth shut. I thought I had broken a rule or something. XD
