John smiled genuinely, chuckling softly as he did. "Well it was either that or endure Trey and Rose's constant 'suggestions' until Halloween was beyond over." He turned his body in order to see Angela better and replied, "Thanks, Angie. Though I didn't do much to achieve such a compliment." He let out another soft laugh. When they finally arrived, he was stunned to see so many people around them. Oh boy, this is going to be difficult to maneuver through at best... he thought suddenly. Hopefully, the group of friends would be able to stick together for the most part. He wasn't shy or anything towards strangers, but he did try to avoid conversation with them if possible.

Trey couldn't wait to get out of the car, and he followed Darrel's lead, bending his knees in preparation to jump out of the truck. "What a vision!" he joked, upon hearing Darrel's thoughts on what the place would look like. "I thought it would at least be classier," he remarked. Beer bottles and soda cans littered the grass fields in various places, though Trey was only half serious. He partly didn't even mind. His room looked way worse. What with all the electronics he kept in there and the wires always criss-crossing each other.



Jace grinned malevolently as she crossed the hallway into the room Fee was currently in. Breaking the other girl's thoughts, she let out a short and shrill laugh. "Oh, don't be so glum, Felicity! Have fun. After all, there's much chaos outside with all those drunk teenagers..." she smirked unsympathetically, taking note of how miserable the other girl looked. "Hm. You would think if we were going to be stuck in this place for eternity, you would have at least picked a funner spot." She looked out the window with that same smirk on her face, a burning curiosity forming within her mind.

Rose swung the truck into place diagonal to the rest of the vehicles, obviously not obeying the invisible parking lines that caused the rest of the cars to be perfectly lined up. Before the wheels of the truck had come to a complete stop, Rose already had her seat belt off and her door cracked open. "You should listen to our suggestions more often," Rose said to John as she jumped out of the truck and tugged her keys out of the ignition at the same time.

Gabby popped open the back door and climbed down from the height caused by the thick tires of the truck. She picked up her long skirts and shuffled through the thick layer of leaves scattered across the ground. "There's a lot of people here for a school functioned party," Gabby commented as she walked to the front of the truck where Rose was tugging out the wrinkles of her rather short black dress.

"That's because it's not a school function," Rose stated nonchalantly, not bothered at all that she had told Gabby the opposite. When she glanced at Gabby, she found the brunette glaring daggers at her. "I knew you're parents wouldn't let you come to an actually fun party and I also knew you can't lie to them. Now get your panties out of a bunch and just be happy I got you here." Without checking to see if all was forgiven, Rose marched forward and waved through the pack of cars towards the flashing lights of the party. With crossed arms and a sour expression, Gabby reluctantly followed.

Aaron catapulted over the edge of the bed as soon as it came to a stop, his thick tan boots landing with a thud on the dirt and his dog-tags clinking against each other. He didn't bother waiting for the other guys to climb out of the truck bed as he started walking towards the crowd he knew he would find just beyond the makeshift parking lot.



Felicity refused to make eye-contact with Jace, staring at the quilt that rested beneath her fingertips. If she really concentrated, she could almost feel the soft material. "It's a lot more fun when you aren't around," Felicity muttered, shooting a fleeting glare at the other spirit.

Cookie - Honestly, I am not even going to attempt to read all of that, and just from skimming over the history, you've just basically summed up everything that happens in the Vampire Diaries. I do not accept characters that are not your own. Taking a character from a TV show or movie is not creative.

I also will not accept a character who's personality "depends on her mood." All good characters have a thorough personality. Also, for a balance character, the history should only be about twice as long as the personality at most. These two sections should be around the same size. If not, you're character has too much bland background information and not enough character or has to many unexplained traits and a boring background.

! would recommend reading over the RP guides to learn what makes an interesting and original character. Either that or find some other role-plays the Moki Hunter and WolfCall have done. These two are amazing at creating relevant and interesting characters.

Darrell practically threw himself out of the bed of the truck and landed on the unwavering ground with a thud. He glanced around, stuffed his hands in his pockets, and began to follow the others into the crowd. He chuckled a little at Rose's school function lie. "This could never pass as a school function," he told her, smirking. "This is going to be way too much fun."

His thoughts flashed quickly to his parents reaction to him going out tonight. They had tried to tell him no, even though he could see in their faces how tired they were, how much they didn't want to fight. Immediately, he zoomed in on that and had the argument won in less than five minutes. No doubt they were discussing his behavior yet again. At least he wasn't home to hear it this time. He shook his head, as if he could shake the thoughts right out, and cast his eyes down to the ground.

Carter hopped out of the truck and looked at John and Trey, the other two already walking away. "School functions aren't too bad," he said, knowing it was a false statement. Darrell's eyes immediately spun back to him, wide with surprise then narrowing in a silent "I can't believe you just said that". Carter chuckled and nodded. "I know, I know. They're usually horrible. I got it." Darrell scoffed, obviously thinking 'usually' was too light of a word then turned his eyes back in front of him.

Angela looked at the other girls, smiling to herself, as she climbed out of the truck. "We'll have fun, Gabby," she assured her, hoping the comment would reassure herself as well. She smoothed out her skirt and adjusted her mask, glancing around nervously. "Happy Halloween. May this be a wild one," she said, mainly to herself. She smiled a little at the thought. Nothing wild ever happened in her life.
