Campbell got up and walked before throwing the piece of paper in the trash as he ripped the pieces into shreds. He walked back to his seat but fell face flat on the ground from someone's foot, Max's foot. He fell on the right side of his face. He picked his head up and rubbed his face softly, feeling the small bruise already forming. He growled as he cluttered his teeth and clenched his fist before looking up and stumbling back onto his feet.

Max immediately jumped to his aid, "I'm so sorry... You OK... I didn't see you there... I didn't realize you'd walk by me.." she said that and much more, honestly feeling terrible about it and a bit nervous that he would hurt her.

Campbell looked at her and said with fire in his eyes "Just shut up. I'm fine." He kept rubbing his cheek as he walked back to his seat, his friends oohing at him as he said that. He sat back down easily before locking onto his paper, not wanting to look at anyone or anything else but the paper.

Max took a step back and watching in concern as he went to his seat. 'so much for emotional peace between the two of us during this class...' she thought and sighed, the teacher returned to find the class working and Max hurried back to her normal first period, feeling like an idiot.

Campbell looked up as she left and sighed before locking back onto the paper. "When is this class going to end?" He asked a little bit annoyed as he looked up. The teacher asked "Why?" and he told her he just fell on his face and it is hurting. She gave him a slip and he was excused. He packed up and walked to the nurse's office to get an ice back.

Max sat in the tech lab, in her normal position, sitting cross legged on the desk, her laptop in her lap typing away. She couldn't help by feel guilty still though...

Campbell went into the girls bathroom by accident and looked at his bruise that was forming. He kept the ice bag on it and hoped it would be better by Friday night's game.

Max had the sudden urge to relieve herself so she got up and made her way to the bathroom, walking through the door and staring in shock when she saw the boy in there.

Campbell washed his face as he grabbed a paper towel, rubbing the wetness off and he said as he heard the door open "Hey Da-" He turned and saw Max and said with confusion in his voice "I hope you know this is um.. The boys bathroom?" He looked in the mirror and saw a girls poster about "Playtex Sport" as he turned and stuttered "Me-Girls-Rest-Room? What-You? Uh...." He was now feeling awkward but he knew he wasn't that strong. He backed up and said, dropping the ice pack "I-It isn't what it looks like, I swear!"

Max couldn't help but be completely amused, she shook her head, "It's fine, just get out before anyone notices, you won't hear me talking about it." she said, shrugging it off, figuring she owed him one anyone, besides, she wasn't like that. She didn't gossip.

Campbell ran to her and hugged her tightly before saying "Thank you so much!" He smiled and let go before giving her his signature grin before looking at her happily, knowing he could trust her, for now.

Max nodded and smiled, "Anytime." she said and watched as he left. She sighed and did her thing before returning to her classroom, only having the bell ring, signalling their half an hour break to eat breakfast or get snacks. She took her laptop to the student lounge and started to write an article about the last sports game, she was the manager, writer and, editor for the school newspaper, which was popular amongst the student body and was the only things she was known for. She went to all school events and always wrote reviews that made the players look like heros no matter if they won or lost.

Campbell followed Max like a stalker and he sat down in front of her and closed her laptop. He took her hands and held them before saying "Look, I... Well... Um..." He looked at her as he got off of his seat and leaned in for a kiss, not knowing what has gotten into him.

Max's eyes widened and she hesitated before pushing him away. "Woah... personal space buddy. You don't even know me." she said. The truth was, she had never been kissed before and it made her nervous.

Campbell's eyes widened as she pushed him back and he fell back into his chair out made the chair fall back as he fell on the floor, yowling "Ah! My head." He quickly shot up and rubbed his neck awkwardly before storming out quickly, passing his laughing friends who were watching everything that was happening.
