David walked through the halls in silence, moving to sit down for his free period to work in silence. He looked up as he spotted Sage and smiled, waving. She joined him and they sat together in silence, they both took school seriously and had homework they wanted to get done before they went home.

Star walked towards David and smiled, sitting down next to him and saying "Hey, David? I'm Shelby Anderson. But.... You.... Can call me Star." She giggled and she put her hand on his shoulder before saying "Want to go out to Little Ms. Steaks or The Dot after school sometime?"

David raised an eyebrow in surprise. She had to have been a freshman or something to not know that a girl of her status should talk to him. But then again he had seem her before so she had to be a sophomore. He was a senior which puzzled him why she was talking to him the most. "Um sure..." he said, not sure if he should encourage her or not. He would be graduating after all. He pushed away that thought, if a girl of her status was asking him out why not. He let a slight smile spread on his face.

"Great. Pick me up at... Seven thirty?" She gave him the address of Campbell's home instead of hers by accident and smiled. She said "Oh, by the way, it's karaoke night, so bring a friend." She knew herself that Savannah worked their part time as a singer for karaoke night just to entertain the people a lot with herself, but it would be fun to do karaoke.

David nodded, "You got it." smiling politely, folding the paper and slipping it in his pocket. He wore a varsity jacket with patches from all the track and cross country meets he had won, so he supposed that made him look like less of a geek. He glanced at Sage who was watching him, a smirk on her face.

Star grew a smile upon her face and kissed his cheek lightly. She got up and smiled simply at Sage before humming and skipping off happily, her belly button piercing dangling in the light. She wondered why Sage had dressed up as a medieval girl before.

'She should go shopping with me. We could go to Wet Seal, Forever 21, Victoria's Secr-'

She thought to herself as her mind got interrupted by Savannah crashing into her. Savannah fell to the ground with the country guitar still in her reach as she held it up when she fell. She crashed on her butt and she looked up at dazzled Star.

"Hey butt cheeks."

Star retorted with a laugh as Savannah got up and stepped on her foot. She yowled in pain as the heels crunched and smashed her foot. She quickly pulled her leg up and rubbed her foot as she growled like a dog at Savannah madly and loudly. Savannah laughed at that and said, swinging the guitar around her as Star tried to punch it out of her hand angrily

"I got us a gig in the place Above The Dot."

"Oh Mu Gosh! I love that place!"

"I know, we are allowed to go over there even if it is a club or teenage get together place. It is going to be a lot of fun!"

"Oh... Wait a second. What time is it at?"

"About eight o'clock, why?"

"I have a date at seven thirty."

"Well, you better change it sissy. You are our lead singer, you need to be there. We could get a full time job there or even be recognized from this. It could actually be the start of something big. An opportunity doesn't come by every-"

Star finished her sentence with "Day." She told her sister she would be there and Savannah smiled, seeing she got it her way this time and she strutted off. Star went into the bathroom and put on her cheer leading uniform and some make up, but it wasn't heavy. Savannah already had on her uniform which showed her stomach tremendously and Savannah looked at the picture of her and Dallas together at a party. She laughed at it as they were pointing at Luke puking in a sink and she still was laughing. She turned and saw Dallas walking towards her. He looked at the photo and said with a chuckle "I remember that!" They both laughed for a while before walking to their lockers.

Bethany nodded, "I'm a sophmore." She said and just looked at Star like, That doesn't phase me. Bethany just rolled her eyes secretly, not wanting to get into trouble already. "It's nice to meet you too." She added, thinking about when he had told her that a few seconds ago. Justin and his friends grabbed their books and pencils, walking to their first class which was English. Boring beyond belief.

Campbell smirked at her and said "Cool, so am I. Well, I have to go to Ninth Grade French." He knew it was weird for a tenth grader to be in Ninth Grade French, but he didn't have enough credit to pass French back in New Jersey because of him trying to make it into the Hockey Association in Canada, which he is now in. He loves his life now and is already going to the NHL right when he leaved this school, which was only two years away. He looked at her and had a big smile now on his face that looked goofy and he walked off to the classroom.

David rose and picked up his books, gathering them in his arms before starting down the hall. The varsity jacket on him protected him from the jocks and he was respected because he won all the cross country and track meets, but Sage always got crap so he protected her. She was his best friend and though they had no love interest whatsoever they knew just about everything about each other.

Campbell walked past a male with a varsity jacket. He made eyes at the male and chuckled with his friends, seeing that he was just on the track and or cross country team. Luckily, there were different ranks of popularity, and different varsity jackets. The Ice Hounds made their way to the ninth grade french class with boredom. For some reason, the hockey team were the Ice Hounds. The football team, soccer team, and volleyball team were the Tigers, The Cross Country team and others were Tigers as well but had a different logo having D on their left chest instead of the full name of the school. As well as the Cheer leaders, they had a sparkly gold D in the middle of their chest imprinted hugely for their school. The other main color was a blue of some sort. This school was confusing. They sat down in their seat and looked at the board, having blank expressions as they looked at the words they thought were gibberish.

Bethany nodded and went to her class, her teacher standing outside the door angrily waiting for her. She lowered her head and looked away from the teacher. Door shutting behind her. "Okay, now that everyone is here. Let's get started." The teacher said and rambled on about a bunch of math stuff that Bethany already knew. As Bethany sat up in her chair she felt a paper ball hit her head. She turned around and glared at the girl snickering behind her. Bethany didn't say anything as she pretended to be innocent. Bethany wanted desperatly to just get up and smack her out of her chair but she had more self control than that. She sighed, offering to pass out papers.

Campbell played with his pencil happily as he felt something hit his back. He turned and saw a crumbled up paper next to him. He picked it up and read the writing slowly and he turned to the male who gave it to him. He read it and it said Bethany had a boyfriend. He sighed and crumbled it up before stuffing it in his pocket before growling at himself, cannot believing he was falling for her. He was now certain he would never date her... Ever. He sighed and looked up at the board as the teacher called him and a cheer leader up for an example of trading.

Bethany was passing out paper when the girl stuck out her foot at the last possible second. Bethany almost fell but caught herself, thankfully. She growled and mumbled some innapropriate things under her breath. When the girl called her some mean name Bethany took her gum out and stuffed it in the girl's hair. "Trashy heffer." Bethany said loud enough for her to hear. Heffer meant pregnant cow and the girl new it. She stood up and gave Bethany a shove. The teacher tried to verbally break up the fight but couldn't. Bethany had a handful of the girl's hair and was slinging her around, the girl trying to get a good grip.

Campbell rubbed his back and heard the bell ring as the female was about to hold his hand. He turned and he walked to his backpack before throwing the pencil in and walking out of the room with his team mates following along. "We saw her smooching with the male this morning. I am sorry, Cam." He looked at them and said "It's fine, it doesn't matter. I could get any girl at the school." He sighed softly before walking towards his locker.
